Anybody in the Wenatchee, Washington area looking for fellowship?
Since moving last November to East Wenatchee, we haven't been able to find an organic fellowship, where Jesus Christ is the Head, not just in word but indeed. We desperately miss fellowship with the body of Christ, but can't make ourselves "go to church," because we believe that the form and function of today's churches is very unlike the way God designed. We could try to find a church in our area that looks (in our estimation) the most like the churches seen in the New Testament, but we're afraid that since we so profoundly disagree with the order of service, leadership structure, etc. we would just end up being divisive within such a church fellowship. Our desire is not to divide the body of Christ, but to edify the body, enjoying and sharing the life of Christ together through the Holy Spirit.
We would appreciate your prayers, along with any words of wisdom.

Hi Dennis and Kathy,
Thanks for responding to my message. I hope that you are able to connect with an organized group soon, but it is good that you have friends to fellowship with in your area. Maybe we can find some house church planting training and begin fellowships in our communities that will truly allow the Holy Spirit to be in charge and make a difference in many lives for the glory of God. P.S. I saw an announcement on this website which spoke of a training seminar on the weekend of 10/10, 11 in Spokane. I don't think we can attend because we promised to be at our eldest grandson's 13th birthday party here in East Wenatchee on the 11th. I contacted the hosts (Dan and Robby Grether) and asked for more info, however. You might contact them to see if any training may be planned in your area in the near future.

We've been doing this Organic Style of worship with folks on the West side of the Mt's for almost three years...it's been mostly challenging, but oh so rewarding relationally with Christ and His Bride.
Recently we laid out our thoughts about what we're looking for in Fellowship (attached) - let me know what you think!

Thank you for your concern. We still are in limbo...haven't connected with other Christians. To be honest, I'm getting really lonely and it's very frustrating. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated. I know that God has good plans for us.
