The chat function is currently in beta. We're not running it site wide right now...its not stable enough. But if you arrange to meet someone on the chat page it works fine.
My suggestion. Start a forum post with a suggested date and time and see who you can get to come for a virtual meet up.
Jon, thanks for getting this together and keeping it "simple". Our region has struggled with someone setting up a website so we can post events, info, blogs etc. and this is truly an answer to prayer! It is great! THANKS!'

HI Jon and Chris
I can't bear the thought of Facebook, MySpace etc etc, too big, busy, complicated. But this immediately appealed to me----a simple looking formula dedicated to what I'm really interested in. Laura
I've invited about umpteen folks to join (many have), but I've noticed that my notifications aren't working right. When I get an email telling me that So-and-So has left a comment, or posted, etc., and I use the link to see what they said, I just get the main home page of the site -- not the specific post or message.
Wassup with that?!? Could be me -- could be I didn't check the right option in my settings (though, it was working a couple of days ago). Thanks in advance (because I have uber confidence in your ability to fix ANYthing)!

Jon,
I am truly impressed! I work with Lynn Reddick and Tim Mather in Portal, GA at Bear Creek Ranch (formerly Covenant Bible Institute). We have been waiting for a site like this. We have invited our entire email list and and there are folks from Bear Creek signing up like crazy. We appreciate your investment in the simple/house church move of God with a site as professional as this!!!

Programming seems to work fine for me! Am I missing a place to see just new posts? I have a couple of threads that I'm following with email notifications. However, every time I log in, it appears that I have to open up each section and manually look through the lists to try and find new posts and/or responses to threads that I'm not following. Is "show all new posts" a feature that might be developed, or am I missing that option somewhere?
