has anyone considered church waterers?

seeds need water don't they?

why the emphasis on church planters?

could it be that the concept of the church planter is perhaps not part of God's plan?

could it be that men/women sent on a mission(I think this is the definition of an apostle) sow seeds and water those seeds.

But remember it's not he that plants that's anything, nor he that waters, but God Who brings the growth and increase.

Saints, we are in a critical hour if you don't already know that. We must consider our focus. Is it Jesus? If it's not Jesus, then it's dead, dead, dead.

I think the hour is calling for us to hold fast and hard to the Head, from Whom the whole body is nourished and joined together by every joint and ligament, which grows as God desires.

Well, Bill, lets change the metaphor then to church midwives. We are more akin to being birthed than planted anyway. We all water & feed one another anyway. Just start and get busy watering one another. That’s with divine water, right, and don’t be a wet blanket.
Remember;
1 John 3:9 No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God’s nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning because he is born (begotten) of God.
The church is soon going to give birth to a new age of victory.

Bill - Good insight I love church planters, and think that they play a critical role.
But I also think that the waterers are needed too. I passed this along to a friend
who travels and waters and he was encouraged.

My thoughts:

I agree Jesus is the focus and the answer.

In practical terms all I know is to allow myself to be knit together, to become community and family in a real way with those that Jesus has gathered and continues to gather me with weekly and we become His Body, His Bride, His House, chiseled and fitted together to form His House/Temple.

In that process I seek and commune with Him constantly all day and learn by constant practice to follow His leading.

I am nothing and I can do nothing, but through Him and by being in unity with others that know Him I allow Him to flow through me and do whatever He wants to!

He is not leading me, or the ones that I am being fitted together with, to spend time faulting the IC. God has proven over and over again that He does not need large organizations to accomplish His will. He delights in using laughably small and insignificant people/groups. In that way no one is fooled by who really accomplished the deed. Whatever is done will be done by Gods infinite wisdom and His power. He is the vine and my/our goal as branches is to stay connected. He will produce the fruit He desires!

His yoke really is easy. He has entered our hearts and made His home with us and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever, delighting in the Lord as He leads and guides us.
