Hey Whoa!

In the past such times were periods of philosophical struggle, but now we live in a world where any lack of giddiness is a mental health *issue* to be treated with generous dollops of therapy and sedation.  Guess we’ve got all the answers.  The IC – always more than eager to follow worldly trends – also expects nonstop, giggly mirth.  How could you not be mirthful when Pastor Wonderful is here!  So we best keep out less-than-bubbly notions to ourselves.  Not sure what they’d do with a David, Job, or Jeremiah – but such *problems* are thankfully few and far between.

A. W. Tozer once said Artificiality is a disease of the soul.  Seems there are some issues our Soul Doctors are unable or unwilling to cure.

Be well, Claude

If our end were merely the darkness of night. Yet, thanks be to God it is only a point in our passage.

I just need to keep in mind that the light will return.  Actually the light is never gone.  It is just that, sometimes I am in a place where I can't see it.  In time it comes to me.  For me, it is often a matter of learning to be patient.
