I found this "Simple Church" site on another web site named house2house. Since WE (you, I and others) ARE already the Church and Body of Christ, I am interested in DOING this type of fellowship as our expression of community and communion. http://www.house2house.com/

Is your post a statement of your intent? Are you asking what we think about you DOING this or have I (as I do sometimes) missed your message altogether?
I am saying, by implication, that we, who are Believers and Followers of Jesus, who obey His Teachings and commands, are His Body and His Church. HOW we express WHO and WHAT we are (His Body and His Church) over the last 150 to 200 years in America, has been accomplished in many ways. But, in the last 10 - 15 years, how and where we gather (in buildings) has been packaged, commercialized, and is being sold and a "Membership with benefits" in an increasing number of churches. And, the church continues to move away from the central themes of Christ: His atoning Work on the Cross; and the type of Koinonia that shows the world that we are His disciples.
Think about it. 1 to 1.5 hrs. on Sunday, a few hours during the week. Wow. Some fellowship. Some worship. Some discipleship. We spend more time watching TV and we know more TV and movies titles than Words of Christ that give us life and direction.
So, after this much-to-wordy reply, I am saying YES it would be my intent to change the paradigm of church to a more intimate and personal setting and a 24/7 experience - and to practice that change; AND to get the wisdom of a multitude of counselors by asking what others think.
Tell me about you?
I have another blog site and web site that would help you get to know me better, too.
