Hi Mary Anne,
Just wanted to let you know as soon as possible that someone read what you posted. I will start by praying for the Lord to reveal to others what is important here. Thank you for your openness in sharing. Some of us might pray but might need a while to hear from God how to best respond to your post. Know that you are not alone and that you are loved by God. Whenever God speaks He will confirm what He says to other believers who listen to Him.

God bless you for sharing your heart. The enemy has the power to put thoughts and dreams in our heads. Sounds like, to a certain extent, you are experiencing some torment in your life. Many times we can open ourselves up to demonic influence by false beliefs and experiences in our past. I'm no expert on this, but I know it can happen. The enemy is the accuser and many times will masquerade as an angel of light.

I would suggest you contact another member on this site (Maurice Smith). He has had experience with a young lady who gave her heart to the Lord, but continued to experience real demonic torment in her life. Its quite an amazing story and perhaps you can find some guidance from her experience and how Maurice helped guide her through it.

I'll add you as a friend so it will make you easier to find Maurice on my friend list.

We lift you up in prayer.

Hi everyone, I thank you all for your replies and support. A great deal has happened the last couple weeks but I'm not sure I believe everything that's happened my self . Have any of you researched the name I was given in my dream? Well much to my amazement I've had Physics after Physic email me and It seems my dream is a lot more than a dream. He's an old Demon named in ancient Jewish writtings. He's the one they say corrupts Man kind by getting him too sin. It's much more in depth then that but I suggest you go research it your self. You'll see there's no way in the world I could have possible heard of him so I'm concluding that this is much more than just a dream. Given the fact that I don't study any kinds of Phenomenon, I'm going to assume that God has reached out to me and has asked for my help, actually it was Jesus whom I spoke with on a mountain top. It was him who gave me this name but I did see the Demon. Any in put from anyone would be much appreciated.
So what do I do now?

In Lev. xvi. the single allusion to Azazel is as follows: On the tenth day of Tishri (see Atonement Day) the high priest, after first performing the prescribed sacrifices for himself and his family, presented the victims for the sins of the people. These were a ram for a burnt offering, and two young goats for a sin-offering. Having brought the goats before Yhwh at the door of the tabernacle, he cast lots for them, the one lot "for Yhwh" and the other "for Azazel." The goat that fell to Yhwh was slain as a sin-offering for the people. But the goat of Azazel (now usually known as the "scapegoat") was made the subject of a more striking ceremony. The high priest laid his hands upon its head and confessed over it the sins of the people. Then the victim was handed over to a man standing ready for the purpose, and, laden as it was with these imputed sins, it was "led forth to an isolated region," and then let go in the wilderness.J. The Rabbis, interpreting "Azazel" as "Azaz" (rugged), and "el" (strong), refer it to the rugged and rough mountain cliff from which the goat was cast down (Yoma 67b; Sifra, Aḥare, ii. 2; Targ. Yer. Lev. xiv. 10, and most medieval commentators).Most modern scholars, after having for some time indorsed the old view, have accepted the opinion mysteriously hinted at by Ibn Ezra and expressly stated by Naḥmanides to Lev. xvi. 8, that Azazel belongs to the class of "se'irim," goat-like demons, jinn haunting the desert, to which the Israelites were wont to offer sacrifice (Lev. xvii. 7 [A. V. "devils"]; compare "the roes and the hinds," Cant. ii. 7, iii. 5, by which Sulamith administers an oath to the daughters of Jerusalem. The critics were probably thinking of a Roman faun).

Azazel Personification of Impurity.

Far from involving the recognition of Azazel as a deity, the sending of the goat was, as stated by Naḥmanides, a symbolic expression of the idea that the people's sins and their evil consequences were to be sent back to the spirit of desolation and ruin, the source of all impurity. The very fact that the two goats were presented before Yhwh before the one was sacrificed and the other sent into the wilderness, was proof that Azazel was not ranked with Yhwh, but regarded simply as the personification of wickedness in contrast with the righteous government of Yhwh. The rite, resembling, on the one hand, the sending off of the epha with the woman embodying wickedness in its midst to the land of Shinar in the vision of Zachariah (v. 6-11), and, on the other, the letting loose of the living bird into the open field in the case of the leper healed from the plague (Lev. xiv. 7), was, indeed, viewed by the people of Jerusalem as a means of ridding themselves of the sins of the year. So would the crowd, called Babylonians or Alexandrians, pull the goat's hair to make it hasten forth, carrying the burden of sins away with it (Yoma vi. 4, 66b; "Epistle of Barnabas," vii.), and the arrival of the shattered animal at the bottom of the valley of the rock of Bet Ḥadudo, twelve miles away from the city, was signalized by the waving of shawls to the people of Jerusalem, who celebrated the event with boisterous hilarity and amid dancing on the hills (Yoma vi. 6, 8; Ta'an. iv. 8). Evidently the figure of Azazel was an object of general fear and awe rather than, as has been conjectured, a foreign product or the invention of a late lawgiver. Nay, more; as a demon of the desert, it seems to have been closely interwoven with the mountainous region of Jerusalem and of ancient pre-Israelitish origin.

Wow, I read it but to be honest it goes right over my head. Some of it makes sense in comparision to my dream, the boy in my dream is a compulsive lier and very dark person, though he's only just 14years. I'm going to assume the warning was for Him as he is treading in dangerous water. Please keep annalysing for me as I think it's a little more in depth than this. Some other things have happened but I wasn't sleeping and I don't really believe in such things. I'm not sure if I should speak of them here.I have no questions with my faith and have not done anything that might send me to hell, so I truely believe that it was Jesus whom I spoke with, as I was 110% convinced of my belief as well as feeling enlightened. Any doubt was cast away that day . (I'm having problems with my laptop so pardon the errors) letters jump everywhere when I'm typing.
I'm going all over the place now with oddities in my life but one things for certain, something is happening and I'm most glad there are sites like this and people like you all who care enough to help a stranger. Thanks
Just one more questions, Does anyone know about 9 Angels God sent down to protect the Children? Yes, another dream. Now you know why I DON'T read Bibles.

I don't know anything about 9 angels, specifically. In googling it, I only found something about K-9 angels (guide dogs). I'm thinking that's not it...! ;)

MaryAnne, I honestly don't know why you don't read the Bible... perhaps in reading it, things would be clarified for you, rather than allowing your dreams to rule you.

Sure, God can, and often does, speak through dreams, but it can also be our subconscious trying to deal with our fears ... and many things can be subconsciously picked up on, without us being fully aware of it. For instance, when I goolged for Azazel, they mentioned that that name has been used quite often in modern movies and television shows, as well as in literature.

Have you yet met with someone, to help you work through this, or are you going it alone, and only connecting online? This sounds like something you could use some help to deal with. It's NOT too big for God ... but it could be due to any number of things, and someone would best help you in person, rather than on the Internet.

Where do you live? Where you able to connect with Maurice Smith?

Hello MaryAnne,
I was going to say that name sounds like the name of demon when you said it was. I am currently reading "The invisible war" by Chip Ingram, the book is a crash course on how to protect onself from demonic attack and such. I would highly recommend it. It uses Ephesians 6 as a base. Also I dare recommend fasting in combination with prayers as Matthew 17:21 advises: "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." Don't let anybody talk you out of fasting. I've done it last year for 9 days, 6 and then few 3 days here and there, and I cannot emphasize enough how that allowed me to clearly sort through some of the most profound truths. Don't worry, you are not gonna die. I eat like a snake, I never thought I could fast for a day, let alone 9. My fast was full, I only had 1 liter of fluid a day to keep me hydrated but you don't have to do that, you could read the book of Daniel and do the Daniel fast that consists of only avoiding alcoholic beverages, sweets, meat and choice foods. Christ is very forgiving and tolerant when one tries in a good faith to give him an offering of a sort. My reason for the 9 days is he got me out of a paralysis, money wise I was tied so I decided the fast would do as an offering, so I did a novena. The beauty of it is during the last days, I no longer felt my body, I started to feel as if I became a spirit, the colors I see were extra bright, the air I breathed was extra pure, all my senses were suddenly extremely sharp, I felt like I died and was resurrected I had so much energy it was unreal, as Christ is my Witness I am not making anything up. Of course you don't have to be that extreme, but Let me tell you, you are in for the most beautiful surprise of your life, should you decide to go ahead and fast. If you think you are talking to Christ now, wait til you fast and then, you'd see how much talking he will really be doing with you. On a testimony I saw on TBN, a guy said "To be absent of the body is to be in the presence of the Lord." , That's what fast does to you, it dis-engages you from the flesh to connect you directly to Him. You can start small such as giving up a meal or a snack for Him and tell Him "Lord, this is for you, you are better than this food I am giving up, you are the bread of life, you are the living water." and build up on that. If you are a true Christian, I garantee that you will never regret fasting. it will only make you want to do it more because it's an extremely fast way to REALLY plug into Jesus. One thing I want to reassure you about is you don't have to be a saint to succeed at this, I am just a regular female. Like I said, Christ is very forgiving and tolerant with one who is in a good faith working to get close to Him. And if anything, Also 1John 4:4 says "Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world." Also, I think James 4:7 says "submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.".
There is also a simple prayer you can repeat throughout the day, it's called the prayer of the heart: "Christ Jesus, have a mercy on me, a sinner.", since I've been saying it upon finding it in an old book I've received so many graces I lost tract of how many. I am certain that if you proceed to say this prayer alone daily whenever you can, that Christ would respond by clearing your mind. I don't have a single doubt about that.

You are a free spirit who is open to hear in the spirit world. To get grounded in Jesus Christ so you can test the true Spirit, you need to find someone who can pray for your healing. Healing your generational sins and deliverance from the roman catholic church history or some other religious history. Someone who can exercise Christ’s authority over your life and help you grow up in the Lord.

We as human beings all believe strongly about something with all our hearts, no matter what it is, spirituality, politics, religion, life after death, and no matter the sincerity of our belief or of the teachers we listen to, it has to stand up to what God the Father says. But what is Truth does not reside on the earth or in our imaginations. The real world is the spiritual world and the things you can not see. The spirit world does not change but the physical world does. That is where the battle is going on.

There are many books on this one truth. The bible says this in 2 Corinthians 4:18. Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.

On demons there is much written. Good and bad authors, but there are more bad authors than good. Some of the following books would help you get your needed answers.
Some of the good authors are: Kurt E. Koch, & some his titles, “Occult Bondage & Deliverance”, “The Devil’s Alphabet”, “Demonology- Past & Present”, “Between Christ & Satan”, & “The Revival in Indonesia”.
Rebecca Brown MD, some of her books, “He Came to Set the Captives Free”, “Prepare For War”, “Unbroken Curses”, “Becoming A Vessel of Honor”.
Don Basham’s book “Deliver Us From Evil”. Johanna Michaelsen’s book, “The Beautiful Side of Evil”.
Jessie Penn-Lewis’s “War On The Saints” & she has a lot of booklets on everything. There was another author, Frank Hammond who wrote dozens of deliverance books.
On one side note about deliverance, you can cast out many spirits, but unless the person really wants to walk with Jesus Christ, some of them will return. I have seen this too many times.
