I am Tres (Chester) Willets. My dear wife Lesa and I love the whole body of Christ. We began at the first Vineyard in 1981 under Kenn and Joanie Gulliksen (pre-Wimber). We have supported many house churches as well as traditional fellowships, and for many years we were exposed to true fathering & genuine discipleship through our spiritual father, Bob Craine. We love simple church no matter where or what form it takes. Jesus sovereignly moved our family, very fast, from Idaho to South Carolina, three months ago. I started out in a Vineyard a long time ago in Colorado and California while in the military. But got tired of baby food sermons I needed to be feed the meat of the gospel. That is the problem with the mega churches you get entertained but you do not get feed much. I like smaller groups because you can get into the scriptures more deeply. I just moved to the south myself down here in Georgia. Interesting culture and I like the people for sure. I didn’t get a house church going down here but did find a little ole Baptist church that is just like a family as well and GOD is moving me and I have been inspired so much as of late.
Good luck to you and GOD Bless you up there in South Carolina what a beautiful place, that state are among my personal list of top 5 most beautiful states in the United States. But be careful it is hard to witness up there because a lot of folks think they are saved by association thinking that there entrance into heave is belonging to a certain sect or church and not by repentance and acceptance as so I heard from an evangelist who used to live in Rock Hill.
