Where is the Church?

The Church is not a "where" its a "who".
Just like God built Adam out of dust and Adam is a who and God made Eve out of Adams rib and she is a who, God built the Church out of His Son and she is a "who" not a "where"

O.K David I'll bite, Who is she and where is she.

tell you what David, I have other shows that I have done. Go to www.blogtalkradio/INCITE and listen to getting back to the basics. Listen to it and tell me if that is what you mean. Me I have just grown weary of all the foolishness that goes on in Christianity. I am only one man but I'm sure I am not alone. Prayer does still work if we are willing to go down on our knees and do it. I don't believe that what we see today is what Jesus had in mind when he founded the first Church. MAN I love the Lord and I love his people and wanting to see Unity in the body of Christ. How do we do it David?

Well it appears my old computer and dial-up ain't gonna let me listen. I'll see about getting my son to download this and then get back to you on it.

I'm also pretty weary and came here hoping to find something that might give me hope for the church in the USA. To be honest it's not been much help.

How do we get Unity? In my mind, unity is so far down the road from where we're currently at..... no clue.

well I know the bible says where two or three are gathered together in his name he would be in the midst. so i guess we can start with the Lord, you and me ;) As far as unity goes it has to start with us speaking the same thing as Paul says in 1 Corinthians 1:10 which at this point is very hard considering there are so many denominations. Nevertheless we have to continue to try and come to some agreement on doctrine,theology,love,fellowship, and disipline. One thing is for sure we have to stand together against things we all believe is wrong reguardless of our denominational differences. That would be a great start. I hope you will get a chance to hear the show but i do understand computer problems.

I am pretty sure you already know this, the church is the Bride of the Messiah. The whole story of the bible is a love story. God the Son sent to retrieve to find and retrieve his bride. Just as Eve was created by God our of Adam so the God the Son's bride came out of him. All of those who are redeemed are the bride. And we are everywhere, we are throughout the earth. And our bridegroom is preparing our home and when it is ready he will come get us.

hey Pastor David
Here is my two cents.The real church is out at the homeless shelters prepairing beds and making food to serve , its (or they )are in their bedrooms praying for their neighbours , then asking them to dinner to share Jesus . they are fixing anothers car to get them on the road in the purpose of love because of Jesus .they are also networking financially and spiritually to spread the gospel in foriegn countries etc. that where the real church is at .
