Psalm 34.v 17

The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them, He delivers them from all their troubles, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Who among us are not crushed in spirit...? (some of us are perhaps better at denying/managing it than others ...)

Beautiful illustration and message, Chris ... I'm often awakened (or apprehended in the middle of the day), with thoughts that I know did not originate with me, and yet come from within me ... Spirit to spirit.

Shalom, Dena
The Lords anger, do we think the Lord is not ever sad, or angry, with us the way we live and what one does in ones life, do I think He could be angry with me, and let me know what hurts Him so, oh yes He has told me, Yes and He warned me, Im glad I stopped hurting Him, by showing me His pleasure He tickled me, like my dad used to tickle me, then He gave me a word of prophesy, I am so glad He has forgiven me and is once again pleased.
I was inspired by watching the movie, "Copying Beetovan" The music was inspirational, the quotes amazing. "You have to listen to the voice inside of you". Anna Holtz character is fiction, but she brings Beetovan's music alive.
Chris
I woke up with the thoughts that Jesus wants us to remember him. In the sense that all of us want to be acknowledged, appreciated and not taken for granted. I feel like God constantly remembers me and constanly blesses me. I did not feel anger (I have at times before) just the gentle parent like instruction that its nice to be thought of and actions speak louder than words.
Thanks for asking!
I experience that as true Connie ... I do not believe the point is to listen to the voice of others, and to live vicariously through the second-hand God-experiences of others (which is what we do when we rely upon the Bible alone) ... but to listen to the Voice within us (He in us, us in Him), and to live through the first-hand experience we have with the Living God.

I may have to check out that movie ... thanks!

Shalom, Dena

I, too, have moved beyond putting my experiences of receiving anger-from-others onto God ... and have allowed God to redefine Himself for me, in me.

God knows us inside out ... He is not surprised, not disappointed, for it's impossible for God to have an unrealistic expectation of us. He knows us ... knows what we will do/say/think before we do/say/think it.

He uses all things to teach us, to draw us, to lead us from where we are into more and more *all truth*. It's all for good, but we get stuck in our limited and finite understanding of what *good* is.

If we'd witnessed the crucifixion first-hand, we would call it a heinous evil ... and yet it was GOOD. We can trust the truth He's leading us into far more than the truth we think we've so-far comprehended.

Shalom, Dena

I was told to read this verse in this chapter this morning. I said what if there is not a verse no. 32 in the chapter 12 of John. ....... this is it.

And if I will be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto Me !. and its Easter. Wow Lord You are so. AWSOME!
I do love that verse...!

for me it works in concert with, "No one comes to Me unless the Spirit draws them".

He is so GOOD!

Shalom, Dena
I was inspired by the Easter message on FOX news. Glenn Beck never hesitates to talk about Jesus, and Thursday he compared Moses to Jesus in, "before Moses was Moses and before Jesus was Jesus". I perked up and thought, "what? Jesus was always Jesus and Moses was always Moses". But then he played the scene from The Ten Commandments, where Moses is walking through the desert, unsure of what he was doing, but being driven to do, and forging on till he had nothing more to go with, and then the miracle happened, as he became Moses, and became tempered and humbled to the point when he could accomplish the mighty work he was destined to do. That shed new light for me on the events of the crucifixion, and why Jesus had to go through what he did in order to become "Jesus", of the resurrection, in order to bring to pass salvation for human kind. For some reason, watching Moses struggle in the wilderness while (me) thinking about Jesus, brought home the point GB was trying to make, that we today are going through similar in order to ready the earth (and ourselves) for miracles, which are surely coming. This earth has a bright and glorious future for those who love God. That is the Easter message I want to remember.
