I really enjoyed Paul Young's sessions. I'd have to say they were the highlight for me. How about you?

The Humans I met there were the highlight for me. Getting to meet some computer friends for the first time and being surprised by joy to meet some new ones. You know who you are.
There were so many good hearts to taste that I felt I had been on a 96 hour pass to heaven. For what would heaven be if it were not populated by good humans?

And Paul Young was OK.

NOT! His last talk on Genesis really wrenched my heart. And those who know me know why.
He seemed to understand what we lost so long ago the garden and for me it was bittersweet, with tears, both for the joy of confirmation in actually hearing another human talk about the things I hold quiet in my heart for how fantastic they seem, as well as being taken back, in my imagination, to that heart-tearing, tragic scene, so long ago, when we turned... and lost so very much...

So, be good then, my new freinds. It's what you were created to be!

Dennis!
Oh how funny -- I went and started a similar discussion elsewhere on the forum...!

WowOwow, what did I enjoy most about the conference...?

Well, Mark and I got to meet Dennis and Molly in person, after nearly two years of online friendship (& it was as good face2face as online! One less invisible friend!). All our kids adored them as well.

Seeing Paul Young again was a treat -- we live an hour south of him, and teased him that we had to fly 2,000 miles to run into him! His talks were just riveting. I could get a daily dose of that!

Talking to Frank Viola again was fun ... he was instrumental in shaping how I saw Church, over 3 years ago, when I was fresh to this movement.

Hearing Neil Gamble encourage us to consider, "Why *wouldn't* that be God?" when we sense a prompting, or hear an inner thought (even, especially, the GOOD ones!).

Getting frisked with Felicity in airport security (a truly bonding experience!).

Hearing Paul Young announce that everything around us is now considered "Holy Unto the Lord."

Sharing about God's gift of sexuality with a small (& brave!) group of participants.

Spending more time with Michael Tummillo (& discovering some wild things we have in common!). Getting to share his friend Olga - now one of my new friends!

Watching my older kids come "into their own" in hearing God's voice, and becoming part of the community of Jesus-followers... no longer just toe-ing the family line.

Having God confirm, just as I'd asked Him to, that He's the One who's been leading me in these wild adventures lately...!

God was there, not only in the speakers, but in the back corners, and the hallway, and the bathrooms, and appearing wherever inquiring hearts were seeking Him...!

Shalom, Dena

Paul Young's talks and Wolfgang Simson's message were the highlights for me. I admired Paul Young for his transparency and courage in sharing his story the first day. His understanding of God's love for us impacted me and his message on male and female turning our hearts to the wrong source rings true with me.

Wofgang's message about the Kingdom and surrendering to the commands of the King was powerful as well.
This was my first H2H conference. Hopefully not my last. While I enjoyed all the speakers I heard tremendously, including Paul Young. I think I enjoyed most the connecting with other brothers and sisters. I enjoyed the family reunion feeling we experianced. I enjoyed the small groups when we got to visit and share what is near and dear to our hearts. I enjoyed and am enjoying the change that God affected in my life that weekend.
Paul was really the reason I was there though I did not that at the time. This was the first time outside the bible that I really have seen the results of suffering in the biblical context. I saw that he was having a great time and being useful in the kingdom as a dead man walking.
Paul Young definately made an impression. His story had impact, and made "The Shack", a must read, again. I would have liked to have heard more from Frank Viola, though.
Funny thing, out of the three National Conferences I have attended, it is really the connections made, that are the most memorable part of the whole weekend. These relationships carry on beyond, anything that takes place at the conferences.
I enjoyed the workshops (I was in the Relational Christianity Trac w. Tom, Neil, Frank, and Paul). Not just the amazing things that they all shared from the platform, but also the group discussions. When Frank let God speak Rom 8:28-39 through him to that young lady....I was in tears. It was like he was speaking it to me! Of course Paul's words and testimony and Wolgang's sessions were a highlight as well.

Probably another one of my favorite things was fellowshipping in the halls, elevators, wherever...and having men speak into my life (prophesy) on a personal level. God is so Good!
I enjoyed reading your note! It's pretty awesome how the Lord can lead us to just the right place at the right time for revelation and a deepening of His love for us with people that we don't know, but who are connected to us in the "bigger family" outside our own location! I love that! Bless you... Bonnie
