For all those who are interested in attending the Organic Church Conference that will be held on June 18-20 at King’s Domain Conference & Retreat Center in the Cincinnati area, I wanted to let you know that registration is now open for the event. To find out more about this conference and to register, please visit http://www.infusionevent.com/cinc2010.html. The speaker for the event is Milt Rodriguez. At this website, you can read about the purpose of this conference, as well as discover how this conference differs from most church conferences. Seating for the conference is limited to 150 adults, so if you are planning to attend I would encourage you to register a.s.a.p. I attended a similar conference in Toledo in November of 2008, and some who wanted to attend were unable to attend because the conference was already full by the time they got around to registering.

Blessings to you all, and have a great week!

Larry, I forgot about the "let" them share their gifts part! I am so glad you reminded me. Won't that be awesome when we are all fully-functioning, letting one another BE the part of the Body they are? The little bits we share already are so sweet and wonderful. How cool is that gonna be... The Body of Christ fully functioning as HIS Body on the earth?!! :D Holy Spirit, breathe life into all the dry bones, raise us up to be the Body of His hearts' desire... lively stones... living, moving and having our being IN HIM. :)

Marcy - Thank you for being there yesterday and the excellent recording of what took place at the Potters house - I like what Ruby said from Romans about let us in the body share our gifts - these are indeed exciting times -

Hey everyone! :D The big meeting that was s'posed to take place in Columbus Sunday got moved to Morrow (Cinnci area). I am so excited to tell you how things went at that meeting yesterday. We ended up meeting at the Potters' house (Dave & Ruby Potter, Morrow, Ohio). First, I am sorry things didn't work out for you guys to be there. But, totally understand. Just saying that you were missed. :)

I have been talking w/so many people via the internet for months now. It was great to finally meet them face to face. As most of our fellowship meetings go w/the Morrow group, when we all arrived we talked and snacked and just got to know one another better. The teens ended up going into another room and played board games and just hung out for a while. After a couple hours, we all gathered together in the family room. We talked about the idea of having a conference in 2010 sometime after March. Then we went around the room stating our names & telling a little bit about ourselves. In doing so, we were again sharing our hearts and pieces of our journeys with God. The interaction was sweet as we all found that our hearts are in agreement... it's all about Jesus. There was so much love in the house. You could feel the Lord in our midst. Someone said "Can we sing?", and we all smiled and nodded our heads. Then she broke out singing "Oh Come Let Us Adore Him". We sang whole-heartedly just loving on the Lord. It was sweet. :D

We didn't sing long, but it was good. It was late and some of us were seeing visions of pizza, dancing hot dogs and things of that nature. One of us kept saying that she seemed to have a small animal making disturbing noises in her belly. ;) lol So, we wrapped up by taking a vote as to whether those gathered were committed to supporting the proposed conference sometime after March 2010. We all voted "yes". :) Milt Rodriquez is in touch with Larry & Bobbi McCullough of the Loveland ekklesia. So, Milt is definitely planning to come to OH, if we can get it together. Frank Viola MAY come. It is not certain who else might be coming w/Milt. But there will be a 2nd guest speaker.

Ruby talked last night about how wonderful it is seeing how God is pulling us together. We are learning to BE the Body Jesus desires us to be in our neck of the woods. She talked about how exciting it is & how scary it is at the same time. Like Joshua and Israel going into a new land... the Lord told them "You've never been this way before". We haven't... and that alone causes us to turn to Him together seeking His guidance and His hand in this journey we are taking together.

I am excited for the Columbus ekklesia & for the Hocking Hills ekklesia (which is sort of in its 1st trimester, or something). I get scared, too, at times... just stuff. But, I don't want to miss ANYTHING God is wanting to reveal to us about Himself. I don't want to miss anything He wants to do in our midst or do through our lives. ALL His ways are good. They are perfect and truly brilliant. We can trust Him completely. What a relief that is... to be able to simply REST in His love. :) I am looking forward also to getting to know the other groups of ekklesia from all over Ohio. It is so cool what God is doing... seemingly all the sudden.
You know that when I stepped out of the IC 12 years ago, I hadn't a clue what God was doing. I just knew in my bones what He was doing in me, what He was leading me to do. The landscape was barren. People always want to know what church your affiliated with, who's your pastor. I dreaded those questions cuz I knew what was coming... the "OMG, You're a Martian!!!" looks. The dark clouded looks of confusion and offense. But I was just thinking in all that time, God had me praying, speaking and singing prophetically over not only over the place I lived, but all of Ohio. I know He raised up others to do the same. Ruby Potter is one of them. She and I were introduced because a friend of mine knew the burden the Lord had laid on my heart for Ohio. Ruby was praying with a group of people in the Columbus area, too, for God to have His way in Ohio. I know that our prayers prepare the way of the Lord. Sometimes you do things and don't see anything happen. It's cool to be able to see some results. Many hearts have been praying and prophesying over Ohio. And I feel like what it says in the Narnia books applies here... "Aslan is on the move". Only here it's... "Jesus is on the move". WoooooHoooooo!!! :)
