Brothers and Sisters,

Our house church fellowship is hosting a Saturday seminar led by house church advocate Steve Atkerson of Atlanta, GA.

Steve has been a leader in the house church movement since 1990 and is president of the New Testament Reformation Foundation (NTRF), www.ntrf.org. Our fellowship is flying him to Richmond on Saturday, October 2nd, where he will conduct afternoon sessions for those interested.

While subject to some change, at present Steve will lead 3 afternoon sessions, beginning at 1:00 PM.

1:00-2:30 - Interactive Church Meetings (1 Cor. 14)
3:00-4:30 - Consensus Governing
5:00-6:30 - Apostolic Traditions


Steve is a national leader in the house church arena and has been a valuable personal resource to me for years. The week following October 2nd he and others will be leading the 9th New England House Church Conference in Connecticut. We consider ourselves fortunate to have him coming to Virginia on such short notice. Books and other materials will be available. The Saturday workshop will be held at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church, in the east end of Henrico County. The address is 1919 New Market Road, Richmond, VA 23231.

Please share this email with those you believe may be interested, practicing, or just curious about house church. We hope to have a Q & A period after each session. Attendees will have the opportunity to give a love offering to defray Steve's costs.
