Hi, Phillip. I just clicked a link, unintentionally making me a member of a group! (I'll correct that blooper later) Just wanted to speak blessing toward you and believers with whom you fellowship "Down Under". And to thank you for posting the link for your blog. I was glad to read your writing on tithing -- good stuff because it corresponds to my own thinking! :) My wife and I were in NZ for a month early in 2008 to hike, climb, kayak as ways to be immersed in the beauty that God has created. He was so gracious in giving us eyes to see Him in the beauty of His works. Often just wept as we were melted by who He is. In fact, I just realized that our profile photo on this site was taken on a boat in Milford Sound, South island! Blessings. Jim (from Canada -- where it's also beautiful!)

The best site to go to in Australia for info on the where-abouts of other simple church gatherings in your area is www.oikos.org.au - email: [email protected] They have a pretty good handle on the Aussie house church groups. I'm sure there will be groups around Canberra. Bless you, Phil

yes, thanks Phil, i have already contacted Bessie at oikos. She introduced us to another family last year, which is great. Just thought I'd ask here, incase someone else was here, who hadn't contacted her. :)

Hi I am a 26-yr-old Kiwi that has just returned to Auckland, NZ from 5 years in London, where I was part of a house church. I'm looking to find a house church or network in Auckland. Do u hve any ideas?
