Hey gang, let's start a page where we list all of the house churches gathering in South Carolina so that those who are interested can contact the groups about checking it out.

We meet in Columbia every other Sunday evening at 6pm (starting February 15th).

Where do you meet? We have been looking for a home fellowship in the Columbia, SC area.
Jennifer,
My wife and I moved to Mount Pleasant (Charleston area) a few months back. There is a group that is still meeting in the 5 Points/Rosewood area. Email me at tomdalik@hotmail.com if you want some more information.

Hi...

My name is Tam Duran and I am new to this forum...actually, just found it! My husband Pete and I are currently in North Charleston, SC. We have a group that meets on Wed. at 6:30pm for dinner and currently, training on how to start a small group and disciple others. We also have a new couples group that meets on Thurs. at 6;30pm. We mostly meet at 1:00pm on Sundays. However, at times we meet with other groups at various times and in different places. We also have a group in the prison and hope to be starting one in the local detention center here this month.

We are affiliated with The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (ICFG), which has embraced the Simple Church movement. Our gathering is called, "The River", based on Ezekiel 47. We came to the Charleston area to plant 2 years ago, moving from California. We had never been to Charleston and didn't even know one person here. By faith in what we believe God wants to do here, we envision a network of ministries throughout the Charleston area that will reach people, train them, equip them and then release them to go out and do the same, according to Matt. 28: 19-20.

I look forward to sharing with you all.

Hi Daryl,

I tried to PM you with our phone number and messed it up.  I think if you "add me" as a friend I will be able to private message you our number.  :~)

Thanks

Chuck

A new group here in Orangeburg called the Edisto Bible Ministry. Meeting in a local house basement and also having youth events in Denmark at one of our members' business warehouse. There are currently 7 of us including 2 children. We have raised money to send missionaries to Africa, taking communion, having regular business meetings, and publishing our own bulletin.

Recently my dad was in the Regional Medical Center on life support, and the family had given up hope. My group canceled our Wednesday night service and congregated in the CCU waiting room with us to pray and lend support. Thank God for them and their prayers, as my dad is home now and doing much better!
