Oklahoma people are awakening to God's call for us 'dry bones' to connect and flourish as the Body he designed us to be! My family and I have family in Tulsa and we hope to get up that way soon. Would LOVE to meet up with folks at Nordaggio's at 81st and Lewis (SW corner).

Comment by steve&jan on June 2, 2009 at 5:35pm: We are in Broken Arrow, been out of church for about four years....actually in and out over and over again. Been listening to Frank Viola, God Journey, Free Believer's Network on itunes. Read The Shack and are reading Pagan Christianity. We both were raised Southern Baptist, but in the thirty years we've been married we also tried Methodists, Nazerene and Charismatics. We've been part of cell groups, but none that were not controlled by an institutional church. Always did enjoy the small groups better than "church" meetings. Don't really like the dressing up, pretending you're someone you're not....yadayadayada religious stuff.
We're just starting to feel open to meeting with others. It's pretty scary.
We don't want to 'do church' at all, any more, any where, no way. Done with that. But we're interested in knowing some other out of the box jesus people :)

I don't "do church" anymore either. We are just moving back to the area (I got here Sunday). I'm going to meet soon with the other Tulsa people, there are a few, when I get a chance. Busy looking for a house to live in and work right now. Hope to meet up with you guys soon.

This will actually be the first meeting that includes more than Shaannon, Lily, Nathan, and me. We have met together at other times in smaller groups, but this wil be our first attempt to get together as a whole. I hope to see everyone there. Marta, where do you think we should meet, and is six o'clock okay for all who would like to come? If anyone else has suggestions for a meeting place please post them, our only leader is Jesus so we all have a say in this.
