Performance Based Acceptance - my story

Although I’d been a believer for a number of years, I knew my life didn’t measure up to what I believed it should as a christian and, to be honest, I didn’t see that anyone else around me was doing any better. Toward the end of 1997, my desire to know God more intimately increased and I began praying what I’ve since come to realize is a dangerous prayer. I told him daily, several times a day, that I wanted to know him. Well, he took me at my word but, if I had known what was ahead, I don’t know…See More

More Dances With Wolves

I recently finished reading Dances With Wolves. Actually, it only took me three days to read the entire book since it was so fascinating. I had originally planned to donate my copy to the school library but I’ve decided to hold on to it since, in my opinion, it’s definitely a journey book that's worth re-reading.

As the story progresses, the… Continue

Dances With Wolves

I just started reading "Dances With Wolves". I've never read it before or seen the movie. I've had the book for a while but just now wanted to start it. So far, I'm enjoying it immensely.

There's a quote on the back cover that I found fascinating. It said: "Unless he gave up the past, he could never have a future."

That's been my… Continue

Leaving a place of saftey and risking failure

"The church is always worried we might make a mistake. Mistakes are the guaranteed consequence of wild abandon. Mistakes are signs of growth. That is why the Old and New Testaments are full of people who made mistakes. The church should be one place in our culture where mistakes are not only expected but welcomed." Winter - a season of rest

Winter has traditionally been associated with death but actually it’s a time of dormancy, a time of rest and refreshing.

This is obvious in nature. Bears and other animals hibernate during the winter and wake up from their rest when spring arrives. Plants and trees also rest during the winter and once again begin to blossom and bloom when winter is over. This time of rest and renewing is critical for life to continue.

Pray for this Dear Friend

But by the grace of god I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect no, I worked harder than all of them-yet not I but the of god that was with me.
I Corinthians 15:10

Greetings to you in the name of our lord and Jesus Christ. People memorize many things, some useful, some less. so there is certainly value in committing scriptures verses to memory or the information in an academic course…in this latest generation people are searching for something through there eyes. They forget what they are hearing …. And Television has put an impact on children and youth .they are attracted to the colorful visions. Since days are for fast running with technical instruments. I have got some request for our church development. Every time messages and songs might bore the people there should be something which attracts them .so I have a small suggestion regarding this. Why can’t we show them some film shows like missionary biographies or some prophet’s stories from bible.

Where these film shows bring interest in children and youth. When they see these movies they clearly come to know the real facts which happened earlier. So to bring an interest and enthusiasm in church people showing some film shows, I need a

Projector,
Screen
DVD player
Sound system.
Laptop

As Jeremiah 3:15 says then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding. ..

I want to lead and guide the souls who are in our church. Since each one has different attitudes and thoughts I want to make them one Christ.

Thanking you Titus k. Siyananthan.
