Thanks for the invite to the NC Connections. I am far, far away from you and all the others. I live in the western tip of the state. We are very isolated here, so some good interaction is definately wanted.

Unfortunately, Boone is over 4 hrs away from me. That's quite a long distance with gas the way it is. But, there is a bright note, our house is going up for sale in Aug. 09. Maybe then, the Lord will tell us where we are going next. Maybe to Maine!?!
Alan, thanks so much for the encouragement. I really appreciate it. I've enjoyed reading your blog as well. I believe I first found it through Guy Muse's blog. God Bless you

Hey Alan,
It is nice to meet you and join your NC network. My husband Tom and I got the "house church" bug about a year and a half ago and felt like God was calling us out of the church we helped to start over 15 years ago to start a house church. We have been in "training" this whole time and have felt like the Lord is saying "it is time" now to go ahead and start... We still don't have the whole picture yet but we are excited to see what God will do in our lives :)
Tom and I have been called out into full time ministry and we work with people who are struggling with sexual addiction. Tom works with the men and I work with the wives and we work with the couple together. We are not "licensed" ministers so we do not charge for what we do. When God called us out he said to trust in Him and His provision so that is what we are doing. God has been so amazing in His provision and faithfulness to us and the walk of faith has been amazing.
I look forward to getting to know you and see what God will do with this connection.
Your sister in Christ,
Linda :)

Our family is blessed to meet you. How does attending a seminary and simple church mix?
