Small thoughts

I was reading Mark 3:9 this morning. About Jesus almost being pushed into the sea because of the crowd. It reminded me that spiritually the same thing can happen of easy in both the institutional church as in housechurches: The line between willing to be as close as possible to Him and pushing Him out is very thin. We can push Him out by our efforts to stand on the first row, we can push Him out by just looking to be blessed by Him in stead of coming close so that we can hear what He… Continue

Hi! // Is there a group you gather with weekly or on some regular basis? Or, are gatherings more spontaneous for you and your fellow HCSC (house/simple church) friends?

Thats very interesting. Just Yesterday I'fe heard that there are some more HC'es in our region. But ther is still no connection between us. Members of this HC'es are looking sceptical to eachother. Maby we are affraid, that the other are not on the same way as we are. Christians - even Christians in HC - have a lot of problems to accept the way of others, that may be different from there own path.
There are some HC that lives a heavy way of living in religius laws. In there sight everey other Christians are on a wrong way. Spiritual abuse is commen there :-( This kind of Christians will not attend a real relationship with other.
But even when when Christan have similar expirience in faith and life a similar credo or have even attended the same Church bevore, will some of them have problems to meet the other - even they are now on an similar way of living Church.

It seems that the choice to live in HC's now will not help every time to meet each other in peace, forgiveness and without bitternes. So, how we find out, what kind of Christian and what kind Church we are? To speak together will help, I gues.

We need as HC's to life in Networks and wee need to see how real biblical humble leadership will work. We need to see, that we can stand for our own way but still have fellowship with the other Christians in there way.

Do you have similar experience?

Alex - are you located anywhere near Brussels. We have some Traditional Church friends who are in Brussels right now. They are part of a network of churches there...They might like to visit your simple church if you are not too far away.

I looked at a map, and it looks like you are about 60 miles east of Brussels. My wife and I visited Brussels, Leuven, and Brugge about two years ago. The company I work for has an office in Diegem, right outside Brussels. We especially loved Leuven with the beautiful University there.

Thanks Alex. Our friends are Rocky and Margaret Gathright. They are Americans living in Brussels and they are involved with the traditional church. They are working with a network of churches led by a man named Raymond Vandeput. The network is called "Antioch Churches."

Dea Alex,

I bless the name of the Lord for what you are doing in the body of Christ. It is wonderful to see men and women of God stand firm in faith and declare the message of Jesus Christ. My name is Isaac Mukweyi married to Emily. We are working in the body of the ministry by th The of House Church network in Kenya East Africa. I was greatly touched and ministered to when I came a cross your Ministry page. God bless you greatly for obeying his Voice to minister this kind of healing to the Body of Christ.

Would you please pray with us about the possibility of Coming to Africa some day if the Lord allows and may be do some ministry in this area? We have several Love ministry by th The House Church network in Kenya , Uganda and Tanzania pray that one day the lord may send you to come and strengthen our network with what God have put in you for the glory of the body of Christ. Please pray and see if the Lord leads. My heart has been to unite the friends and families for the love of Christ, as the bible say in Luke 10.I believe the dream of Jesus as in John 17 was to see the strong church united and show the world that we are one.

May God blessing we continue praying for you and looking forward to hearing from you.

God bless you and keep you.

Yours in Christ.

Bro. Isaac & Emily Mukweyi
