Actually, I haven't seen that discussion on here yet, I have been kind of following a Business as Mission discussion group on Linked In. Would love to see one on here though, I think it goes hand in hand with simple church.

Understanding Our Inheritance

It seems to be time for believers in Jesus to realize and to spend their inheritance in Him. The riches of our inheritance mentioned in Ephesians are not to be spent later, but are "in the bank" for today. Jesus was raised from the dead so that we would have access. We do acknowledge the truth of what Jesus has done, but don't really experience it, and we have been satisfied with that position. This needs to change.

The excerpt below is from a recent book titled "Releasing the Power of Jesus".… Continue

A moment that chooses blessing

Friends, at the beginning of this short video message is both a testimony that will excite you, and the call for us to walk in such a way that those who meet us meet Jesus... We will be strong and do exploits... taking God seriously. This isn't hard. God is really good. Its ministry without being intentional or organized... Love it!

What if they came to your house...

I have a question. If someone like Sarah (Sarah's Imagination - recently removed from SimpleChurch - who was an Indigo Bhuddist Christian) came to your home meeting, at what point would you say... ahhhh.... I don't think this is the truth.. and define and limit the presentation of material that is quite clearly not founded on the Lordship of Jesus Christ? You want your house church to be evangelistic, it is a wonderful way to reach the lost, so how do you face the issue there? This is a real que… Continue

Hi Carolyn. I am sure that you and your grandchildren had a great visit. Isn't it fun - to go and to leave?! :) Recently, I made my yearly visit to our zoo to view the new additions, and I am doing pretty good in keeping up my exercise routine. One young couple in our group had a really extravagant wedding reception/first year anniversary two weeks ago, and it seemed like the city came out. We observed and later heard of many supernatural occurances associated with the event even as a team had asked God to do in prayer. It is becoming somewhat of a rollercoaster, but I love the work and the way of God. He gives me great periods of rest also.

I had a good weekend. Part of it was involved with a much needed intervention with a recently bereaved acquaintance. It went into some very deep places, but healing and deliverance has begun. This week will probably be similar since I have been asked to do a couple more interventions with two other families. God is so gracious in His faithfulness. He never ceases to amaze me even though I always expect Him to show Himself mightily.

Carolyn, you have exciting days ahead of you just by exercising the authority and the "power of attorney," even the more, that Father has invested in you. Of course, the fervent and effectual prayer of the righteous availeth much, but so does the release of a powerful prophetic word or a word of knowledge or a word of faith. Yes, All creation is waiting for the manifestation of the (children) of God. Just stir the waters for God, and watch Him move by His Spirit. We have to preserve our energy and anointing to do the works of the Father, even though it is by His Spirit. As workers together with Him, we are opening the prison doors and letting the prisoners go free. The deliverance is in our mouths because we have the mind of Christ and the heart of God.

Father also sent some great ministry to me Saturday...a confirmation that I had been praying for a long time.

Carolyn, continue to pray for my wisdom, strength, and obedience. Thank you.

This is the day of the Lord!

Carolyn, God always speaks great things about you and for you to me when I pray for you; so in the mist of life and living I expect to hear of the manifest goodness of God toward you always. I hear Him saying, " Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." God is prospering you even for His Kingdom because He can trust you. What a blessing! We all need more so that we can do more. You have an unfolding gift/anointing of miracles; so be sure to use it lavishly even as an evangelistic tool (Do I need to say, "Thus saith the Lord?") :) How else would I know? Bless You! Bless You!

Hi Carolyn, I'll share some things real soon because God is truly moving by His Spirit in our mist here in Memphis. Several years ago, God told us that when He moved, it would be like a domino affect. We are seeing families reunited, hearts and bodies healed, finances improving... Our times are indeed in the Lord's hand. We just had to learn how to remain faithful while waiting.

How are you and yours?

I'll share more soon. We're just trying to keep up with what's happening right now. We're seeing Isaiah 65:24 manifest.

Blessings!

I don't want to keep you up at night, but the initials are taken from a very popular hymn: Take My Life and Let It Be...

Hi Carolyn,
I have in past years been part of worship teams but not with simple church. It's just one of those things I enjoy doing playing guitar and some banjo. I do write and hope to share sometime. Thanks for asking and have a blessed weekend.

Hi Carolyn! Your new picture is really attractive. In fact, it is cute! Look what Father does for us as we keep marinating in Him.

I shared a new blog this week ( "Two Shadows") about a message that a young man, who I have mentored for almost two years, shared last week. I am watching such a unique move of God taking place in our mist lately. When this young man calls from his office during the day to pray for me, God's presence just hovers over me for some time afterwards. God promised me that He would do a quick work for righteousness sake. This couple is so bold and beautiful and fruitful that God has opened doors even in the corporate world for them to minister.

I haven't seen my son in the past few months, and he will be home for Mother's day. Hooray! I am believing God that he will soon return to his call so that Father can prosper all that he puts his hand to.

I am not doing too good with the writing at this time because I keep allowing interferences. I am considering a proposal to perform my poetry at a supper club here in the very near future. We are working on a DVD project for that. God is challenging our Fellowship to venture into more "unchurchy" avenues, and we are endeavoring to be led by His Spirit in these matters.

Oh yes, I purchased a new Stride Cycle ( an eliptical and exercise bike all in one) since I don't get to the gym as often as I should. Now what will my excuse be ?!:) I will never again be "Twiggy," but I can do better to stay fit for the journey.

What are you up to at this wonderful Spring season? Is your business running smoothly? Let's continue to pray one for the other.

Your Sister,
Marion

Thanks for you kind comments on the post on the name of Jesus. I appreciate the encouragement.

May we be given to knowing and revealing Him and lifting up that name that is above every other name....Jesus.

Thanx Carolyn for the comment and for stopping in. And "back at ya."

Your brother,

Clark

P.S. I just noticed where you are from, Clovis, NM. In the early 70's I stayed there in Clovis. They used to drive the cattle right down the middle of the road. I got to know a Tony Sena and Shelby Rogers there. Were you living there back then?
