Charles S said… - I am so grateful to the Lord for allowing me the privilege of attending the House2House convention this year. My life has been impacted in more ways than one. I have returned to Hawaii a different man.
The ministry I received, the friendships I established, the renewed focus and sense of purpose I enjoy have inspired me to greater service for our Lord. I can only testify that I am excited to be a part of a modern day miracle, a sovereign work of the Holy Spirit, a restoration and renewal of authentic Christianity.
Kudos to those who share the vision for this ministry; the website is brilliant, expertly designed, and will help to keep us all connected to one another and the vision we share to see “simple church” the dominant form of the local expression of the Body of Christ.

My name is Dana Cashwell and I along with my husband Travis, my three kids, Cameron 6 (she's a girl), Madeline 4 and Thomas 3 we left the church 2 years ago to BE the Church. The problem was we didn't know how to do it. Travis and I grew up in church so when we explained to our family, friends and church what God wanted us to do, the majority of them considered us apostates and heretics. Don't get me wrong, they loved us in their way, they just didn't support us.
A year ago, along with some of the friends we had left, started something called So What! Ministries (shameless plug: www.sowhatministries.com). Which was all about getting people off their butt and serving their community/church/family. Then we read Pagan Christianity. Mainly because George Barna was listed as an author. After reading it, we devoured everything that Frank Viola has written because he put on paper what we were going through and what to do about it. We're in the process now of revamping and updating everything.
I felt like I was wandering in the wilderness for 2 years searching for the promised land; thank God I finally found it!

Trust you are doing well on the Island!
We have been busy. Sharon's mom's church celebrated her (mom's) 70 years of ministry last weekend. and we've had family in town, etc.
Getting back to normal...we dropped our daughter off at the airport earlier today for her return trip to SoCal.
We're praying for you and yours....

- Charles! So good to hear from you! We are doing fine in TX. Donella and her husband Andy have started a new business and the Lord has really blessed them with a lot of new business right off the bat! We are helping with watching the grandkids, etc....so they can meet deadlines.
Sharon and I are in the process of "reinventing" ourselves (SMILE)
She's begun work on 5 books and I've picked art back up after a 40 year hiatus because of "The Work"....I have my recent work posted on my facebook site. Come on over and pay me a visit!
