Stephen, as a senior project for the photo-journalism school at UNC, a student spent time with us and took this photos. She did an awesome job! Thank you!
Someone from the Philippines looking for a house church in Greensboro for their son. Please let me know of any home fellowships in the Greensboro area.

Hey Boyce Family!! What a cool pic...and I'd be willing to guess that I'm one of few people that knows where that pic was taken. You are such an amazing part of the family of God!!! Samantha
Its nice to meet you too! You asked, "How does attending a seminary and simple church mix?" Answer: Very Carefully! Actually, I'm studying under David Alan Black (www.daveblackonline.com). You would probably like much of what he says concerning the church.
I created a group for North Carolina. Join it, and maybe we can get some discussion and get-togethers going.
Thanks for the reply. I will look forward to meeting you another time. So far it looks like Dana Cashwell and family and Matt and Jen Burglund and family and , perhaps Marianne will attend. It should be good fellowship.
I'm just excited to find others who see more for the church than what we have experienced.
We are thanking the Lord for your prayers for Parks.
The news is still that Parks is extremely normal on paper. His number of episodes have decreased. Sitting still seems to be when the majority of these episodes occur, so he is schooling standing in front of the computer.
After much prayer, eggs have been removed from his diet and the number of episodes greatly reduced within a day, although not gone. Parks began the Zoloft Monday and no further changes have been observed.
We heard from the genetic doc today. The oligo array and the leukocyte coenzyme Q10 are completely normal. With the oligo array they were searching for chromosomal and copy number imbalances (~100,000) with a focus on the Pitts Hopkins syndrome area. This was the syndrome they believed Parks to have.
We are waiting for a couple more genetic testing. Parks has been tested for the others under general screenings in the past and didn’t have any of these. These are new refined tests.
Again thank you for your prayers.

Hi Boyce Family,
I don't know if you remember us or not but we met you at Bill's house about a year ago.
I sent a friends request and wanted to let you know who we were.
Blessings and Peace,
Becky
I want to take a minute to give a rather detailed account of what has been happening with Parks, so that everyone can see clearly the hand of God at every turn.
A year ago, when a boy at a children’s Bible study was bitten by a dog, that event opened up a relationship with the boy and his family – not just with me but with Jesus. By August this single mom and four of her six children had accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
In October, our son Parks was hospitalized for undiagnosed waking apnea and cyanosis (blue lips caused by lack of oxygen). When this single mom didn’t see us for a week, she became worried and started praying.
In early January, this woman said the Lord told her in a dream that Parks’ problem was related to his sinus. Shortly after, his dentist said everything looked fine. But the mom persisted and I took Parks to our family doctor last week. Thank You Jesus that our pediatrician knows us so well! I told him about the dream and the doctor did a thorough check, even though Parks had no outward signs of infection. He found our son has impacted sinuses and put him on an antibiotic. Within four days the apnea and cyanosis had stopped completely. The sinuses will take a couple of weeks to heal completely with several different treatments, but Parks is jabbering again and happy! God is so good!
I wondered why the Lord wanted us at Duke Medical Center for a week, during which doctors found nothing wrong. At Duke, they said the brain damage that had been found at 9 months and again at the age of 3 (by MRIs) was completely gone. Every laboratory exam was normal, including an extensive MR-S, echocardiogram, EEG and scans of his lungs, heart, spine and other vital organs. His genetic tests were also normal, including a test for more than 100,000 possible mutations.
A friend told me Friday that God wants to remind us that our son is a typical, normal young man, just waiting to walk into the Lord’s promise for him.
Thank you so much for your prayers! They have kept me at peace.
Cindy, I read your note on W2W and wondered if you would share with me about house church spreading Jesus among former gang members. We need to do the same here... and I want to encourage a few of our friends that this simple church model can be the influence we need. Thanks so much. Carolyn
