Sorry--not that I'm aware of, however my husband's family did come from the east coast a couple of generations ago, so it's possible.
I just happened on your contribution to the discussion on the implications of Obama's presidency and I was very moved by your response. It's interesting that the Lord led me to it on this fateful morning. I see you are in Rapid City -- a part of the nation I long to visit! My husband and I have been "being the church" with our family for awhile now. I visit a couple of institutional churches where I feel God has connected me -- one for great Biblical teaching, really deep, and the other for powerful worship and good believing friends. I am a school secretary and even though Jacksonville, NC is in the "Bible belt", this is very, very far from a Christ-centered environment so I find I really need those friends. I could go on and on -- but my point in this comment is to say that your reply to the Obama discussion, I think, should stir the hearts of all of us who read it. I think it's profoundly prophetic, even though you didn't think Obama would win. I hope it will be OK if I add you to my friends group. I can tell a friend like you would be a real treasure, even at a distance of a couple of thousand miles! Thank you for your perceptive comments -- they should really encourage us, because think of the growth in Jesus we can experience if we view all this from heaven's perspective. Thank you for sharing your thoughts...and I thank the Lord they were on this site so at this particular time I could be blessed by them!
May blessings overflow you in Jesus,
Anne Chick

There's a program called www.talkingitover.org that I listen to most Saturday's with Janet Parshall. They had a sister there yesterday, a Leslee Unruh from SD who is trying to over-turn the liberal abortion laws in that state. Anyway, I thought of you in listening to her because of things I have read in your blog.
I've thrown up some things regarding meeting according to I Corinthians 14 at the discussion of the same name. Check it out if you get a chance.
Your brother,
Clark
Blessings,

I left you a note previously but am not sure you received it. I just wanted to let you know that we are in Rapid City also and have been involved with house church for awhile now.I would love to meet you sometime.

I just wanted you to know that I put something up about "prophecy" in the meetings. I joined some of these comments with keeping a "prayer journal." I think this is one way that prophetic utterance can be cultivated for the meetings. Anyway, you asked me to let you know when I had done so. And I'm glad I dropped in; I'll be checking out your commentary on I Corinthians.
Blessings,
Clark
The photo is an improvement. And I'll be passing the "proof" to you as soon as I get done. I think you'll like it.
And here's an article I think you'll appreciate. Check out http://lastdaysministries.com/Publisher/Article.aspx?ID=1000008561. It's called "In the Hands of the Potter" by Jill Austin. Jill worked with Melody Green and is now with the Lord. Beautiful writing that cuts to the heart. And being that you are a potter yourself, I think you'll even have a deeper appreciation.
Blessings,
Clark
I am in South Carolina, but I was in Rapic City several years ago with a friend to visit D*** Pendleton. He and his wife, Lavon, live on Quincy St. He is a retired prof in mechanical engineering at the School of Mines and Tech. but is very much involved house church oriented ministry.
