Frank, this is probably the clearest, most concise, and in summary, best commentary on the differences between communism/socialism and democracy/captialism that I have read. Thank you for sharing it.

I was introduced to the idea of house church while involved in political movement. At a pro-gun rally or shall I say pro-freedom. Most of the people I meet though the John Birch Society and the Consutution Party. Those are great places to find like…

Frank, every word you wrote in your reply resonates with me very deeply.  Organized crime has infiltrated our governments, skimming all the wealth it can, mainly from illegal activities.  With families destroyed by a drug culture,…

When God created man, he gave him freewill. Freewill is sacrosanct to God. Freewill means that WE make decisions and WE bear the consequences of them. This is God's way.   The difference between communism/socialism, and…

Great words, Julia and Sandy. Thanks for putting it so clearly. Connie, I pray you can hear and receive what's been shared. Don't judge true Christianity by the failings you see in the lives of people. Judge Mormonism against true…

Quote by C.S. Lewis

Believers need to accept the reality of Christ's return in majesty and power before that event occurs; for, "it will do men little good to kneel down when it is no longer possible to stand up, for when the “Author of the play comes on stage, the play is over!”

Hi Connie, I'm Jim. I like what you say. Even though you didn't ask me, as we are at SimpleChurch, I thought I'd make contact; I hope that's OK with you. For the sake of convention, I refer to God as a male, but, of course, we all know Mother Nature has no gender.

I think God is why and how the universe exists. He has no religion. He is all creation, while His time is eternal, with no past or future. He is us and we are Him, whether we understand this or not. Throughout history, many great sages have realised enlightenment, that is, become awakened to the reality that is God. I certainly have not... yet; perhaps it comes to us all. I hope so. I think there are as many paths to God as there are people. God is part of me, even though I expect to never really understand what that may mean... I've only the experiences from my life to use when I try to form conceptions of God's reality. A direct revelation would be helpful! When I die I feel my soul, then unencumbered by individual ego, will be of God "again".

Religions are institutions for groups, while a person's faith is individual and personal. Maybe that's why some folk are attracted to the House Church movement. There is much that's valuable in most Faiths across the world. Sadly, many Christians are very one-eyed and close minded about this view. They think all relevant truth and wisdom is to be only found in the Bible. I agree that much of the Scriptures are very valuable, but not all is the the true Word of God transmitted through divine revelation and witness. The interfering editorial hand of man is evident in many parts. Because God is part of each of us, we can open our hearts to look within for truth.

You are most welcome to come and leave a message directly on my wall, as I have on yours. Shalom.

Hi, Connie. I noticed, in a comment to Tammie, that you indicated that you receive only part of her messages in the emails that she sends to you. I'm wondering if you have discovered that you have an inbox on your site page, upper right corner, where all emails from friends are deposited in their entirety. What gets to your home email box is really just a notice containing the first part of a, perhaps, longer message. Just trying to figure it out with you!

Connie, yes I get email, through this site, from anyone in my friend list who wishes to contact me directly, rather than post a comment to me on the site.
