The Relational Kingdom ::: Simple Churches

I've done other posts on what goes on in what my heartbeat is, what I hear the Father saying to the Church. I feel as though I need to clarify where I'm different from an 'organic' or 'simple'…Continue

Youth in Simple Church ::: Youth Leaders

In a home fellowship where there are strong biblical fathers, and strong fellowship. There is little need for Youth Pastors and Youth Leaders, that role is naturally filled by the brotherhood that we…Continue

You can just go on Google and search "Shephearding Movement" and get many results for it to pop up. What started as an honest pursuit to as a Movement to Disciple the Church, became very abusive and…Continue

Sacrifical Giving : Tithing

Obviously Simple Church's influence is the Early Church in the Book of Acts. I put before you, brothers and sisters, a statement and question. I used to give tithe and give more on top of the tithe.…Continue

Our focus and heart is to build relationships with other like-minded, burning, committed believers just like ourselves. We're tired with shallow, professional, impersonal relationships because we don't just want to be 'Church Friends' we want to be truly Brothers and Sisters, Fathers and Mothers. Truly "... being knit together in love" (Col 2:2). Mostly we just sit in a circle and talk about what Jesus has been doing in our lives really getting to know each others hearts. Nope, it's not super…See More

"Studying deeply 1 Corinthians 13, I found, what you call 'Law', cross references with 1 Corinthians 13 over and over again. Then 1 Cor 13 corresponds too with the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). I found the 10 Commandments to be…"

"Building Relationships too is really our heartbeat. What is community without it? How can you pour into another's life without relationship? How can the Kingdom of God advance without unity? Relationships is how the Kingdom of God is built."

Nate Davis replied to David Thomas's discussion Sacrifical Giving : Tithing
"Dave, Since the grace of giving is the substitution for the tithe, I think that you have to end up with collections for the poor. The two are inseparable, if you want to understand the grace of giving correctly. If they were to take a collection,…"

David Thomas replied to David Thomas's discussion Sacrifical Giving : Tithing
"Nate,I'm not talking about the collections for the poor, but tithing as an obligated ritual of religion. So certainly the grace of giving does make perfect sense, it's motivation is birthed out of the love relationship with Jesus.God…"

Yes, he is in Charge of Teen Reach in Grigsby Middle School. I lead students into Prayer Every Wednesday Morning at Grigsby Middle School, so I talk with him often before and after.

It is pretty sweet to see locals on here.  I have since moved to Belleville, but I am attempting to move back up around Alton again.
