Hi David. I am acutally looking for a church myself. A friend of mine recently started a house church. I have not attended yet, but they are meeting weekly on Sunday afternoons/evenings mostly in the Loveland area. If you are interested, I can connect you with them. He is on this site also under Lawrence (maybe Larry) McCullough.
Can't help but smile at your recent post ...! Thinking we must become friends ... I like you already!
So, what's your story..?
Feel free to check out my page here (there's a link to my off-site blog as well) ... and I see that you're already friends with my long-time friend, Robert Ricciardelli!
I'm in Dallas, Oregon ... have lived here with my husband Mark, and our 8 kids for the past 4 years ... before that in Washington, DC ... before that all over the world, as my father was in the army.
Mark, raised Jewish, went to seminary, was ordained, and served in a church in the DC area ... we left the IC 5 years ago, and then came, more and more, incrementally, into truth that shattered what we *thought* we knew within traditional Christianity. This has cost us dearly ... the ministry, other ministries, friends, many relationsips. I'm considered a "heretic" in most Christian circles. And yet it was God who shook up my tidy and ordered-doctrinal life, LOL! What a wild and jubilant adventure this is ... SO well worth, even the pain. I've begun to "journal" what I'm seeing -- here's the link of you're so led: http://shalomdena.blogspot.com/
Have you shared anywhere else, in writing? How did you come to see as you now see? Any particular books that have been significant in your journey?
