Starting up a simple church

After a year or so dabbling in a simple church at another couple's house, and having some ups and downs, we have established one in our own house in Valparaiso, IN. We started doing simple church in June with a few other people. In my 33 years of Christian life, I have never felt more free! Thank you Lord!

Indeed! The freedom is fantastic! // Is there a group you gather with weekly or on some regular basis? Or, are gatherings more spontaneous for you and your fellow HCSC (house/simple church) friends?

We are trying to meet weekly, although it doesn't always happen. There are about 10-12 of us, some of whom are also attending a "regular" church on Sunday a.m. We do other spontaneous things too, like we're going into the local county jail to minister in a couple weeks.
