We have a brother in Messiah who lives in Connecticut. He has had great success in making Kingdom relationships by just driving around town and stopping when he sees someone working on their home or yard.

Hi Merika, It's through CMA Resources. It's one of their Greenhouse Church Planting events. Neil Cole is listed as one of the speakers. By the way, I love your butterfly picture.

First Story Conference

I just signed up for the First Story Conference in Dayton this August. I'm also getting started on Servant Evangelism outreaches. I've done this type of outreach for years and I'm addicted. I've done everything from cleaning toilets, to leaf raking, to washing windshields, to handing out carnations on Mother's Day at an intersection.I keep thinking about the centrality of Christ and the Kingdom of God. I've asked myself if my motives for doing the outreaches is to build a church or just love…See More

That's awesome! More Lord! Jesus, be the center of our lives. I really loved this post. I felt the presence of the Lord on me as I read this. Wait, wait, wait on Him. He is so worth it.

Thanks Ron for the encouragement. I'm in the desert season of trying to locate others who want to play nice in my sandbox. My closest friends think I'm nuts to leave IC. They're afraid for me they said. I appreciate their concern but…

Bridge On Fire!

I have resigned my membership and volunteer responsibilities with a congregation that I've given my heart and soul to for 5+ years. Serving isn't enough and I'm longing for true koinonia. I'm transitioning from IC to an organic house church. I have no axe to grind...only a dream to share.

I bumped into the idea of organic church through a friend of mine who told me about Frank Viola and his book, Reimagining Church. I've been a part of small groups for several years. I've even hosted… Continue

I would love to get the chance to talk with you over drinking a nice hot cup of coffee sometime in the future.
I'm not sure where Goodfield is thou.
I'm sure Jeromy knows.
We thought about meeting in a coffee shop. Just never done it yet.
How long have you been meeting?

It didn't happen for us right away and in fact there was a time it was very dry for us.
I started a bible study with the kids in my neighborhood about 7 months ago and Jeromy started connecting with other men around the same time.
The Men, few women, and kids rotate the meetings. So we meet anywhere between Champaign,Urbana, paxton,Rantoul, and etc.
I enjoy the get together with other believers and grown so much closer to my Father in heaven just by being in an home laid back setting.
IF you would have asked me 4 years ago if I could grow in this setting I would have said no way.
But Jesus timing is perfect and there is a lesson to learn in any setting He puts us in. I have lost the religious attitude I use to have and grown to be patient with those that still have it.
usually they are one way conversations,so it's not hard to just let them dig there own h*** to figure out their wrong in their attitude.
Well some take a lot longer than others...80P
Anyways I hope we can meet up sometime.
Maybe we can meet half way?

I just found out the baby I'm watching will be with her grandma all Summer.
So that means I'll be open all for Gordyville flea market weekends.
I just started setting up there to sell my hand made clothes.
I'm really looking forward on our meet.
