I pray this will be a place where you can cultivate your time with our Lord and share with us a portion of your journey by "prayers of the heart. I have found that keeping a prayer journal, and pray-reading His own words is one of the best ways to cultivate our time with Him. This is such a new devotional practice with me, but what it has done with my intentional time with Him is truly a thing of beauty. I also think that if our time with Him is rich in our solitude, then what we will bring to the meeting of the saints will be richer as well.

And I want to encourage you to order "Contemplating the Cross" by Tricia McCary Rhodes. This is an interactive journey to the Cross that will seep into the deepest recesses of your heart. It starts with Lent and goes to Easter and you will be given the opportunity to share portions of your prayer journal with the rest of the group.
