New Simple Church Book?

Marketing guru Seth Godin is coming out with a new book next month. It’s called Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us.

Here is what the editorial review says on Amazon.com:

"You know about waiting in line at an Apple store, or the look on a fellow Deadhead's fac

You know about the way it feels to go back to the church where you grew up.

You know about the…

Social Networks Pass Porn

Social networking is more popular than porn on the Internet. According to a new study of over 10 million Web users there is now a shift and web behavior. One finding is the drop in popularity of porn sites, particularly among the 18- 24-year-old users.

Web surfers are defining online interaction in a whole new way, according to Bill Tancer, author of the new book Click: what millions of people are doing online and why it matters. Tancer… Continue

Welcome to simplechurch.com

I am now a member of three social networks. I joined Facebook about a year ago, LK10.com a few months ago and now this one.

I have been able to start at least one simple church with the help of Facebook (not to mention the Holy Spirit), and there are probably a couple more churches in the works. However they have yet to meet IRL (in real life).

I have recently completed reading a book called Here Comes Everybody: The Power of Organizing Without Organizations by Clay… Continue

Hey Ken, Web 2.0 is all about interaction online.

One of my clients is John Eldredge and Ransomed Heart Ministries.

We just launched a Social Network for them at www.RansomedHeart.NET.

I advise them and my other clients on Social Media strategies like blogging, podcasting and social networks. When appropriate I have a network of contacts that can help them deploy these type of strategies.

Take a look at some of my recent blog posts at www.jondale.com and you'll get an idea of what I do (and no, I'm not a fan of Obama, just his online strategies).

It's great to have you here. Do you twitter? If so you can follow me at www.twitter.com/jdale ...I'd love to follow you too.

That'd be great...toss me an email at [email protected] and I'll give you my phone number.

One suggestion on Twitter and the iPhone. Download the Twitterific app (the free version) from the iTunes store.

I use the same free app on my macbook and iPhone. Its great.

I'm headed out tomorrow to go bow hunting for 10 days. Would you be interested in helping me with some admin stuff here while I'm gone?

Lets plan on chatting about your ideas when I get back.

Ken,
Certainly trying to be. . . the "elephant" has almost left the room here at Magnolia Ave Baptist Church in Riverside. We are moving to trying to be "authentic" as our mission statement states! Looking forward to the dialog with this group of wonderful people. My church email is [email protected]

Stay in touch ~

Hi Ken,
I'm Edgar from the Philippines. I'd like to invite you to read my article at www.bibleone.net/TheMillennium.htm. The milennium doctrine is vital for Christians to understand. It has to do with the word of the kingdom and the salvation of the soul, not spirit (Matt. 13:19; 1 Pet. 1:9; James 1:21; Heb. 10:39; Matt. 16:24-28). I'd appreciate a comment, but you are not obligated.
Thanks,
Edgar Meneses
