Take a look at http://www.phoenixhousechurch.org for an idea of other house church groups in the Phoenix area. We all get together as often as possible for family gatherings and would love for you to be a part of it.
Kenny, We are trying to organize a valley-wide gathering for mid-November. We would love for your family and/or group to take part in this. Please contact me at 602-524-9400 or [email protected] for information. We are going to have a planning meeting on the 11th to talk more about this. Blessings, Larry
Thanks for commenting. Maybe a cultural thing. I apologise for my abrupt entrance into your page. Even though we Christians are supposed to have no barrier personal preferences remain. I just would like to say that my sincere desire is simply to share with others what I think are important for Christians to know. And I assume this SC is a good place to do it. If we love our Saviour then we also ought to put importance to the things He values, like His Kingdom which He enjoins His disciples to pray for, "Thy Kingdom come." And it is coming . . . literally.
Here is the problem with teaching that the Millennium is synonymous with the Kingdom of God. The millennium is in the future for believers and the kingdom is a very present reality (at hand). Jesus rules now from the position of the throne of Lordship of the believer. His works on earth began when he was here on earth and the kingdom came. For example:
Matt 12:28. But, if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you
Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, is the way we enter into that kingdom that is within believers now. These same works are prepared for us to do using the power of his resurrection by partnering with God.
Ephesians 2:10. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
God wants to partner with us to do kingdom works according to the power working in us, which is where the kingdom currently operates.
Ephesians 3:17-21 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.
This is the beginning of the time when the Lord restores all things. His glory is being revealed now. It will usher in his actual rule on the earth, but we must enter into the works of the kingdom now, and demonstrate power of God to his glory. This is why there is healing and deliverance and the raising of the dead today.
Keeping all this in the future lets us off the hook, and is not what God intended for the body of Christ during this age. We are kingdom people, and we love God and are so happy to see that he is alive and active today!
Thanks again, Kenny, for the comment. It is noted. I'm now on my way to a nearby province so I will be "absent," perhaps for a week or two. I need a rest because of my sickness. I may comment more properly next time. Till then . . .

Is the millennium doctrine now obsolete and unimportant? Please see www.bibleone.net/TheMillennium.htm. Thank you.
