Thank you for the comment on my post. I don't know of any people meeting together on the basis I described, though I have a number of Christian friends in the greater Spokane area with whom to share spiritual things and pray essentially on a spontaneous basis. All the believers I know here, with only very exceptions (maybe 4), are institutional church goers. There is one man in Deer Park whom I met on the phone through this website, over the same article, but we have not met in person yet, though I hope to very soon. It is just very hard to find people to meet together with in the Lord with no expectations or protocols and simply for what He would want us to do or share.
Usually people don't feel they've properly "done church" unless certain things are done, but then those very things become formulas and pattersn that carry onlives of their own.
One person I have become very close to, whom I first met on simple church, talk about these things and scripture all the time. She's virtually the only person I know who is completely outside of organized Christianity and even "the house church movement" but has a very strong and deep life in Christ. But she lives in Texas.

Thanks for meeting us for fellowship this eve at Starbucks. What a great conversation about our mutual experience in Honduras, low-key evangelism, Spanish, Living for Jesus, etc. Mellanie and I were very blessed by your companionship and just being one in the Spirit with you. BTW, we're doing a bluegrass CHRIST-mas concert at the Moose Murals in Loon Lake tomorrow night at 7pm if you' re interested and up to a drive.
