I read a lot of Romans last fall, and could do some more reading. Most of the message in Romans is what God has been teaching me now. I love the quote. I feel so much like a pioneer and have often been led into things spiritually before everyone else seems to be getting there. It's nice to have people who are in a similar place on the journey.

You are most welcome! I hope you had a nice weekend. I was fortunate to have a 4-day weekend. It was nice to have some lazy time and get out into the beautiful weather. Do you remember the Brookside area of Tulsa? That's where I live just a 1/2 mile from Riverside. The Riverside Park trail has really grown. It now stretches west all the way to Sand Springs and southeast to 96th & Memorial!!

I'm real excited to find other like minded believers. There's a bit of pioneer in me too. What sticks out most for you in Romans?

The last couple of years the Lord has impressed Romans 12:2 on me. I really like the Phillips translation of this scripture: "With eyes wide open to the mercies of God, I beg you, my brothers, as an act of intelligent worship, to give him your bodies, as a living sacrifice, consecrated to him and acceptable by him. Don't let the world around you squeeze you into its own mould, but let God re-mould your minds from within, so that you may prove in practice that the plan of God for you is good, meets all his demands and moves towards the goal of true maturity." More meditation on this would prove fruitful.
