Grace and Peace to You!

Grace and Peace to You.

Hello everyone! I hope that you are living the Spirit filled life! I also hope that you are growing in the knowledge of who our Lord and Savior, Jesus is!.

Even though we are living in the end of days and all the prophecies spoken in regard to these days are coming to pass, we can take courage through God's Word; in Him we have hope. Not like the world, our hope is eternal and His name is Faithful! Amen!

May I take a moment and share with you some of our LORD Jesus Christ's words?

Many will give up and will betray and hate each other. Many false prophets will come and fool a lot of people. Evil will spread and cause many people to stop loving others. But if you keep on being faithful right to the end, you will be saved. (Matthew 24:10-13 CEV)j

I encourage you to work hard at keeping the love of Christ and the peace of Christ amongst one another. Forgiving one another as Christ has forgiven you. Holding nothing against a brother or sister but a debt of love as the scriptures commend us to do. Have a blessed day!

-Michael

What I Believe

Trinity
I believe that God is one and the only god. Revealed to us through three persons. The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. {Isa. 9:6; Jn. 5:18, 10:30, 14:10-11,16-17; Php. 2:5-6; 2Pet. 1:1}
Redemption
I believe that man was created without sin, but fell in Eden through which all men afterward were tainted by sin, until the last man, Jesus had come with purpose to pay the debt we owe God, and that no man but Him is worthy and able to fully satisfy God's justice toward mankind. His sinless body was bruised for our transgressions and His life given as a ransom for all the sins of all men. {Rom. 3:19-25, 5:9-21;1 Jn. 2:2, 4:10,15}
Salvation
I believe that the only way for mankind to receive eternal life is by faith in Jesus Christ's work of redemption upon the cross. Without faith in Jesus, man remains separated and under condemnation and the wrath of God. This same faith is also made valid by the works of repentance and shows us all whether or not we bear the fruits of a sincere conversion. {Mk 16:16; Jn. 3:16-21, 6:40, 44, 8:23-24, 31-32, 10:1-9, 25-30}
The Great Commission
I believe in the Great Commission of our LORD and Savior to preach His Gospel to the whole world until His return. I believe that this commission has not ended and will never end until Christ returns. {Mt. 24:14; Mk 16:15; Acts 17:30-31; Ro. 10:14-17}
Second Coming
I believe in the Second coming of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. That it has not yet taken place, but will happen at the end of the Great Tribulation at the last trumpet. Yet know man knows the day nor hour. {Heb. 9:27-28; Mt. 24:24-28, 32-33, 36; Lk 17:22-30}
Resurrection
I believe in a future resurrection of the Saints. That this will occur when Jesus Christ returns to the Earth, with the Saints who have fallen asleep, to begin his Millennial reign. I believe that we will not precede those Saints who have gone before us. That means that I believe that we will not be "caught up" in the clouds before those saints who have died are resurrected first. {Lk. 20:37; 1 Co. 15:51-58; 1Th. 4:16-17; Rev. 20:1-6}
Hell & the Lake of Fire
I believe in an eternal place of torment and punishment to all those who do not believe in Jesus Christ and obey the message of His Gospel. {Mat. 7:21, 18:5-9; Mar. 9:42-48; Lk. 12:5; 2 Th. 1:7-9; 2 Pe. 2:4-11; Rev. 20:9-15}

Because we are living in the last days I believe it is especially necessary for us the be vigil and alert! This is why I've posted what I believe. There are so many false teachings invading the church and it seems to me that more and more people are accepting these teachings. Please take this seriously and begin to ask God to expose false doctrines and to protect you from the schemes of Satan to seduce you with crafty words.

"I pray that God will punish anyone who preaches anything different from our message to you! It doesn't matter if that person is one of us or an angel from heaven. I have said it before, and I will say it again. I hope God will punish anyone who preaches anything different from what you have already believed." (Galatians 1:8-9 CEV)
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.(Psa 119:2)
God bless you! Michael.

Hi Michael,
Question to ponder: Is the millennium doctrine now obsolete and unimportant? Please see www.bibleone.net/TheMillennium.htm. Thank you.

Hi Michael, Interesting concept - "we rebuke for rebuking". There is a great book out there called Jesus and Justice written by Al Houghton. You will find it very refreshing and quite contrary to the religious/legalistic teachings in this…

I think you've struck a great point in reguards to the House Church movement. There seems to be a lack of solid Christian doctrine trading it for "Spiritual Expariences", not that I'm against soaking in His presence but good true…

Faith alone could be a statement misinterpreted as just believe, Paul told us that the demons believe in Christ and are terrified, so also Faith without works is dead , Faith is shown by our actions, being a disciple , losing our life, dying to sin…

We live by the Spirit!

Galatians 5:1-26 CEV Christ has set us free! This means we are really free. Now hold on to your freedom and don't ever become slaves of the Law again. (2) I, Paul, promise you that Christ won't do you any good if you get circumcised. (3) If you do, you must obey the whole Law. (4) And if you try to please God by obeying the Law, you have cut yourself off from Christ and his wonderful kindness. (5) But the Spirit makes us sure that God… Continue

Ponder on This!

"Permissiveness is the new grace doctrine. 'Don't condemn the sinner.'

We rebuke for rebuking. What an oxymoron!

In fear of legalism we have torn down the fences of restraint. Now we are paying for it with the marriages of our offspring."

Agree with One Another; Live in Peace!

Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. (2Co 13:11 ESV)

I've found myself in a place these past few years were I can't find any peace within the walls of church. It seems that all the churches I've attended have a social structure that I find it difficult to conform to.

I wasn't always at odds with this way of Christian life. When I got saved I was in… Continue

Don't say Goodbye.

I've been wrestling over this whole "transition" ordeal and was feeling uneasy about this practice my church, like most OTC's, have of "sending off" or whatever.

My plan on joining a House church has brought me to consider weather or not I need to say goodbye to my OTC family. But there is the answer!

Romans 15:5-7 ESV "May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, (6) that together you may with… Continue

Don't Look Back

DON'T LOOK BACK!

-by Chip Brogden.

"He who puts his hand to the plow, and looks back, is not fit for

the Kingdom of God" (Lk. 9:62)

I want to share an experience with you that taught me to never go

backward, never compromise with what God has shown you. I

think it has some prophetic significance for you as well.

A few years ago I was briefly involved with a television ministry. I

say briefly because six months after they hired me to… Continue
