You do have to create the environment for organic growth to occur, much like the farmer has to prepare the soil. The trouble lies where we try to plan what's going to happen with the life of the group. This would be like building your own corn…

Wow Michael, this is really good food for thought. How do you think this looks in real life? Some friends and I are hoping that the group we're bringing together will gel, but all of us are so concerned about "making" something…

Is Your Church a Collaboration?

Mechanical order coordinates through cooperation. A lot of effort is focused on creating centralized control, consensus and structural protocols. The trouble with this is that the spirit of cooperation is a rigid spirit, one that stifles creativity and discovery. It is more concerned with sequence than rhythm. It squashes the human spirit. The mechanical plan becomes the master. The person or people who developed the plan then will frequently talk about how they want collaboration, but in…See More

YES!! This is what I teach every week, and I am not ashamed of repeating myself. May it be that more and more, those who are born again know the mystery of "Christ in you"

Hi Michael,
I'm Edgar from the Philippines. I'd like to invite you to read my article at www.bibleone.net/TheMillennium.htm. The millennium doctrine is vital for Christians to understand. It has to do with the salvation of the soul, not spirit (1 Pet. 1:9; James 1:21; Heb. 10:39; Matt. 16:24-28). I'd appreciate a comment, but you are not obligated.
Thanks,
Edgar Meneses

Hi Michael-
Thanks for posting the series "the exchange life". It was a real encouragement to see that another ministry promoting the mystery of "Christ in you". The American churches desperately need to have their christianity "deconstructed" by the Biblical Christ in order to then be reconstructed in union with Him.
Are you a member of Christ Church? I book marked the Logos Institute site and will look at in depth. May the Head of the Church strengthen you and multiply your efforts by an ever increasing participation of His Life and Spirit.
