simple church would be the simple expression of Christ together, as in the things mentioned from I Corinthians chapter 14; as coming together to share reports and blessings received just days beforehand; encouraging & admonishing one another; hearing from the Father's Spirit together; remembering the body of Christ and the testimony of those who have sojourned ahead of us; comforting & strengthening the weak; administering divine graces; unity with diversity --- some go out after meeting together to serve together in their town or region as an active extension of their fellowship together in Christ.
