DNA and Pastor's

I was surfing through some of the information on Simple Church and found Rabbit and Elephant, one thing led to another and I wound up on House2House.com the Dale's web page. Reading through I found two things that really made me think and really helped me see the bigger picture of what Mike has been saying all along. The biggest one, that really opened my eyes was DNA!D- Divine Truth - loving God/Jesus/Holy SpiritN- Nurturing Relationships - loving each other deeplyA- Apostolic Mission - being…See More

Hi, Pamela. Just read the post that you made within your group. Since the tools of the site do not allow posting into a group by an outsider, I thought I'd post directly to you just to express my joy at witnessing your excitemnt about discovering another insight that is helping you to make better sense of how God does stuff. And thanks for posting that acronym -- DNA! Great way to capture core truths of what we're about!

When you ask, "Do we need a Pastor?" , the thought came to me that maybe you actually answered your own question, in the affirmative! Yes, we need pastors! The two people whom you referenced as having been spiritual father/mother seem to have been exercising that role in your midst. Scripture seems to be pretty clear that pastors in our midst are God's design (Ephesians 4:11). Apparently we need them to grow into the likeness of Christ, and to extend His reign on earth! But they may not need an office near the foyer, with a sign-posted parking spot or state-approved ordination papers!

Blessings upon you and all the folks who recently came onto simplechurch.com with you!

Prov 29:18 where [there is] no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy [is] he.
What is the purpose of our life? Why should i alive and doing hard work for everything?
These are the questions always in my mind when i was not in CHRIST BELIEVE. When i came in Christ with the powerful word of GOD, that time I realize there is purpose of my life; there are certain things which only i can do which were set specifically for me only.
In football team if we take out the GOAL, and ask to the players now play. What happen when players taking the football to the goal but if goal is not there? They became frustrated very soon.
Peoples are frustrated, hopeless; perish because they don’t have any goal for their life. They are doing lot of hard work but in result they found nothing. Rom 8:29For whom he did foreknow, .. conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose..
Ask to the lord for the vision, purpose of our life and he answered and blesses us, Show us the specific work of him.
