Marshall,
Agreed!!! All of my Interlinear studies brought me to this one simple conclusion; "He's hungry, he needs food. He's thirsty, he needs a drink. He homeless, and we have room. He's necked, he needs cloths. He's sick,…
It is the wisdom of God that we have Scriptures and New Testament writings through copy and translation portals. koine Greek & paleo-Hebrew, through the eddies of time, have much been lost to us (despite bold claims to marked scholarship). In…
@ John,
It took me long time to find that one online. I had seen one in print years ago, but lost it. Anyway, they no longer have it up, I don't think. I used print screen and paste to save it in paint so I'd always have it.
NOTE: There is…
Paul,
You bring up a very good point! I have worked with literals and original texts mostly, finding thought-for-thought often lacking, just for the reason you gave. But literals do have problems with real meaning too. I find translators unwilling…
Matthew,
Word for word versus thought for thought is an interesting discussion. I've leaned both ways at different times, and have now come to the conclusion that neither one can give us all we need.
The problem with word for word…
Matthew,
That's a far better chart than I had found so far! I had run across comments about Nestle Aland but hadn't followed them up to get my own copy. I've been using UBS 4th edition. Partly for the manner in which it is…

Paul, thanks for all the great work that you guys did to make the conference a great success. It was my first time to the event; God stirred lots of things in me during and after the experience. Great days ahead for us all in the valley of human need...
Lori and I are taking a post conference trip through eastern and norther Oregon. Meeting some simple church folk we have only know on line, and stealing a bit of down time here and there.
Today we ate in Joseph - the town in "The Shack" and then drove to the lake and camp ground where the abduction takes place in the book. The area is less rustic than I expected - but as beautifull as I expected.

Thanks for your response. I am currently looking to get together with anyone interested in starting a House Church in the Oregon City or Portland area. I have been meeting with another group in Ridgefield WA about 40 miles from my place but they have taken a few weeks off and wont be starting again til Oct. 5. We meet every Sunday about 12:30 or whenever everyone arrives. I have been doing House Ministries for many years and thought this forum might be a way to meet others doing the same. I currently meet together with brethren every Friday at IHOP on 82nd ave in Portland for bible study and fellowship. Been doing this for five plus years. Bless you, Fredd
Hi Paul,
I'm Edgar from the Philippines. I'd like to invite you to read my article at www.bibleone.net/TheMillennium.htm. The millennium doctrine is vital for Christians to understand. It has to do with the word of the kingdom and the salvation of the soul, not spirit (Matt. 13:19; 1 Pet. 1:9; James 1:21; Heb. 10:39; Matt. 16:24-28). I'd appreciate a comment, but you are not obligated.
Thanks,
Edgar Meneses
