I have finally gotten so tired with the organizational churches that I just want to go back to the biblical model of fellowshipping from house to house. It's not as if it's an idea that went out 2,000 years ago. It's the predominant way that it's done in countries where Christians aren't free, and as the Rabbit and Elephant attests, it works here as well.
It's no wonder that many people would rather die than enter a church building, although it is a shame, because many find that God is there as his people meet in his name.
My wife understands my feelings, although she still attends a large church. But for both of us, our richest times in the LORD were in home groups.

Also, we are hoping to get practical information from the Vegas trip on the opperations aspect of Simple Church.

I've also been getting together with a couple from Armenia by way of Azerbaijan, and they were getting pretty tired of being brow-beaten about not giving enough at their Russian church. They haven't been back, but would like to get more of a "fellowship" feel to our get- togethers, so I was thinking about having Steve over with them also. I'm so happy that things are starting to happen.
