Paul Pavao replied to Frank Ayscue's discussion My Opinion of Current Claims to Apostleship
"One further comment.   Yes, both the Bible and doctrine are important.   However, most Christians have a very wrong view of what Paul meant by doctrine. The most common use of that term is in the pastoral epistles. Titus 2 is a whole…"

Paul Pavao replied to Frank Ayscue's discussion My Opinion of Current Claims to Apostleship
"I think people put too much emphasis on words in the church today.   I have a friend who's church-planting in California. It's simply amazing to watch what God is doing through that young man. One of the people he's ministering…"

Paul Pavao replied to Mike Burleson's discussion Dealing with the IRS
"Well, I have an almost opposite viewpoint. It's almost opposite in the sense that I think it's okay to give without taking the deduction.   On the other hand, I've been dealing with the IRS for almost 10 years now, and their…"

Paul Pavao replied to Jeramie's discussion A Proposal: Let's Search the Scripture Together
"Actually, those would be examples of what's not working. We're all aware of what we're looking for, and it's not Joel Osteen. I didn't say ignore Scriptire, I said discuss interpretations--bazillions have been offers by even…"

Paul Pavao replied to Art & Deb Mealer's discussion Starting Out Simply

Paul Pavao replied to Art & Deb Mealer's discussion Starting Out Simply
"I always have one question for people who suggest things like this. How's it working for you?   That's not a confrontational question; it's a sincere one. I'm not trapping you. I don't have a cruel follow-up response…"

Church life is every day for us at Rose Creek Village (http://www.rosecreekvillage.com). Someone once said that it's like 20 house churches all on one piece of land.

Hi Paul...
Last summer I visited The Farm...somewhere in TN. The community was fantastic. But I left asking God to show me where the same sort of community was but with Christ as the head. (The Farm is faith neutral.) Anyway, Maybe it's Rose Creek?!?!?!?!?!
