Hi Peg -
I pray all is well. It has been a while since our last communication. I will be attending the H2H Conference in Jacksonville FL. Will you be there? I have much to share with you regarding Neil Cole's…
Hi Liz, I'm Peg Batcheller. Hope you connect well with others here. Check out the links on the main webpage, there are some awesome posts going on here.
Blessings,
Peg
Hi Norm,
I've been thinking about you lately and the ministry you have of preparing and working with missions. I'm starting to connect with a group with the Hispanic poor of Albuquerque. I'm hoping to make a few trips to help Guy Muse…
Hey Peggy, thanks for the invite. I am greatly enjoying the connections we made at H2H. Looking forward to some face to face meetings in our area soon.
This is cool!!! We are educated on tech stuff, huh! Ha!!

Hi Peggy, I would be glad to correspond with your friend from Santiago. We have lived in Santiago for 4 years now. I have some firends who are temporarily living in Albuquerque before returning to the mission field by the name of Taliaferro.
Hey Peg, hope all is well. Life has been incredibly busy for me, and I'm sure for you as well. Hope you have stopped burning the candle at both ends!
Papa has been busy in our lives. Coffeeshop meeting is under attack. OF course. Work is crazy and consuming... Preparing for my dtr in law to move in for a year, and am going to be Grandma in April 09.
In spite of all the noise of the urgent, Papa has carved out places for me to pay attention to the important. TO those relationships etc that HE has ordained. I have actually had face to face meetings with one lady from Simple Church, and have a 'date' with Tracy Todd from our H2H email group on Saturday night.
So, life is good, busy but good. Blessed as usual, because Papa loves to shower His kids with blessings.
I was blessed to meet you at the House2House Conference. My husband and I sat at your table next to Penelope Dale the first night. It's been great meeting others who are open to simple church.
Let me share a little with you. We meet Sunday afternoons and about 10 children usually came. They are excited and full of life. After we sing a couple of songs and greet one another we have open sharing. The children are eager to share the blessings that God is bringing into their lives. They are also becoming comfortable sharing with each other. Recently, one little girl shared that she thought that she was not special because it seemed like her cousins received more attention than she did, but the songs we sang let her know that God loves her and she is not forgotten. Wow - out of the mouth of babes.
Open sharing with children is not only possible it seems to come naturally to them. Our Sunday meetings are currently being attended by mostly children ages 6 to 12. Our family consists of 3 adult children ages 18-24. We are concerned that their needs are not being met as we minister to the young ones. How do we meet the needs of adults and children at the same time?
We also meet on Wednesday with a group of high school boys. We play games (board and video) and share the gospel with them. We recently began a woman's meeting - using "The Shack" as the starting book. I had 3 people in 3 separate situations ask about "The Shack" within 2-3 days of the conference. The conversations were uninitiated by me - I am sensing that this may be a God thing.
We have been asked by friends to continue mentoring them as a couple and one on one. We married them in August. We've been mentoring them for about two years. How should we continue in this mentoring process with them?
We've got a lot going on. We share all of this in the hope that you will pray for us, share any insights and ask the Lord to help us only do those things that He is doing.
It would be nice to minister to everyone at the same time, but it seems that there are different needs with each group. Do you have any thoughts about us ministering to these groups? Is there something else we should consider?
Especially concerning our own children. Thanks for listening.
Just another intro for Julie. She is a friend of mine and Felicity's. She is part of the group that Felicity has mentioned to you that we are a part of these last couple years having phone calls together to discuss women in ministry stuff. I'm sure you'll love Julie and enjoy your fellowship together.
BTW - sorry about the last call with Linda and I falling through. Can we reschedule it? I'm assuming your about done with all your gardening projects at this point and I'm done with my motorcycle classes so weekends are a bit more free. Let me know.....it would be good to catch up.
