Yea yea. I think I'll stick with this one. : ) yea Ron and Heather... They're still there, still send me mails too... Ron is the main person working to translate the Bible into their local tongue. Great stuff over there... Yea, this was such a great idea coming over to this site, just feel so much more connected...
It's always been about people! It really is powerful helping the ordinary man (which we all are) to see that he is specifically loved and called of God, to do his part, by being... love.
I don't have any conveniently at hand, but I hope to add one soon. I see you have lots of photos, Mrs. Technology ie wife of Mr. Technology. I see Huey was kind enough to give me a photo.
Wow petreece your photos bring back memories, ones that I had forgotten.
Thanks Petreece, I appreciate your comment and prayers!! Can you rpay that I wont be afraid of marriage/ I guess it's more of a fear of being hurt again . Thanks :)
Thanks glad to be here, you know I am a late bloomer LOL. I really enjoyed Sunday, learnt a lot myself even as one of the "older women" it's great to be a part of something real!!! love ya lots
Well, I'm not sure about it's spiritual implications..but they relate to the sections very effectively. The last one shows in illustration how one gets over the toxic feelings, confusions and doubts in the book...through spiritual warfare (putting on the armor of God). The last section where the girl is sitting infront of the rock looking up is the illustration for the worship section so it's meant to signify that she surrenders to the presence (which is the source of the light from left of page) in her brokenness.
I dunno, I guess I need feedback on this one because I may have ideas of what I want to express but it's what is best for ensuring that God is glorified. I've written in a very open way so the nakedness symbolizes this and I have written in a way that relates to persons who are not in the body of Christ. Some of these poems ministered to me deeply (and I considered that if they impacted me so deeply then they might help others).
The artist who did them is not a dedicated Christian and so the illustrations themselves may carry messages I do not intend. This is why I ask people what they see. If it's at all bad, I may have to squash and ask someone Christian to do it? I really don't know..I need advice.
