Well, my name is Sarah and I'm new to this site. I would love to have interesting conversations with anyone about BEING the body of Christ and exploring simple ways of meeting and expressing the love of Christ to the world. My family and I have been out of the IC for over two years now and couldn't be happier about it. We meet periodically with others and more often just as a family. We are interested in meeting others in the area who would like to fellowship together.

I am a homeschooling mom of two, I love to read and study, and I also play the bass guitar alongside my husband in our christian rock band. I guess we are pretty non traditional, so that makes us fit in even better here ;).

Things I have Learned This Year

Seeing as how it's the New Year, I decided it was time to post a fresh new blog. 2008 is gone and 2009 is upon us. If anyone asked me I could not tell a lie, I am entirely too happy to see 2008 leave us, it was a year I would rather forget were it not for all the things that it has taught me. I know, it's just geography-- but still. :) We're starting our own meeting/gathering here on the northeast side of town, but it's consisting only of people who are still in the IC; we are meeting on Sunday evenings. (We've had a "home group" for about a year now, and we just decided to begin..expanding that..) Do you have a regular gathering?

While I don't agree with all that I read there, I was impressed by the wealth of information and to find so many like-minded believers. They also have a Facebook group you can join and get their stuff right on your wall.
