You and Joel look like you have a wonderful family. I'm not on the SC site much anymore, but keep my profile here for folks who are looking to get together with other believers in a more simple way. Call it "house church" "simple church" "organic church", whatever; we just like to meet with others who seek a closer relationship with Jesus and want a sense of community among believers. Nothing weird, just pretty basic stuff. We are just starting a new group here in Kihei.
Where do you guys fellowship at? You are welcome to drop by and join us. We always share a meal together, sing some worship songs, pray, if someone has a teaching, just whatever the Lord wants for us that evening.
Oh my that is so funny. We are right behind you in that newer subdivision off of Waipulani. One of our familes, Scott and Jenny Smith, live in PV II. My brother Alan also does a home church in his home down the street from us as do the Burkes across the street.
My wife and I would love to get together with you and Joel so we can get to know one another and share what the Lord is doing in our respective lives. You guys can reach me on my cell phone at 208-755-9461.
Ah, the joys of having little ones in the house. I remember those days. I'll definitely give Joel a call. My wife's (Donna) number is 208-755-9461. Look forward to meeting you guys.
I left a message for Joel on his cell phone. My wife is putting a together a very last minute, impromptu gathering of home church folks from different home churches here in the neighborhood. There will be folks from three different groups and probably around 20-30 people. We will be meeting at our house at 1080 Kahaapo Loop (right behind PV off of Waipualani. Time is around 6:00 p.m. and it will be pupus and desserts, not a formal dinner or anything. It will be just a time of fellowship getting God's people together. There will be kids here, so feel free to bring the younguns. I hope your kids are feeling better. Tell Joel that he is welcome to wear his wig if that makes him feel more comfortable. :)
We still want to get together with you and Joel to share what God is doing here on Maui.
Thanks for checking up on us. We're doing great. Right now we're just outside Salida, CO camped along the Arkansas River. One word - Beautiful! We'll be on the road till the middle of July. Are you guys enjoying Kula? Talked to your dad before I left. He didn't sound too happy having you guys so far away. Oh well, that's how we grandparents are. LOL. Give my best to Joel, as well as your mom and dad.
