HELP OTHERS JUST LIKE WE HAVE BEEN HELPED!

"All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too. " 2… Continue

Hi Sue, I remember the Esther word...it gave me a lot of strength- edified me, if you will, as I had to stand and just wait for my marraige to take place, I always felt like I was the only one who "got" that Esther was a woman of God who was pushed into a situation that looked bad (I was thinking a lovely Jewish girl marrying a pagan king just might have been a scandal), but was used by God through it, and in a big way. The one person I tried to discuss that with couldn't get her mind out of the bedroom long enough to hear me... SO glad that period of my life is over with! Are you saying that Esther and Estella are related? Does Esther also mean star? Meri

OK- I looked up Esther on wikipedia- found out that as well as star, the name Esther is related to the Myrtle tree, whose flowers look like stars. Another flower/flowering tree reference for me. I've been getting those for six months now! Also, Esther linked to Psalm 22, which I guess I'd better look into. Thanks for the reminder, very helpful, Meri
