Hi Terry and clan! We are over in the North East side of the 'Greater Houston Area' We just had a home church camping trip the weekend of the 6th to Cagle State Park north of Conroe. I'll mention your trip tomorrow to the group. It would be great to gather with others.

I left information on the Houston area forum too with David Flowers.

We meet up in New Caney, TX.on Saturday and have Bible study on some Mondays and most Wednesdays.
There are six of us that meet regularly and up to 10 at any given meeting. Last week there were 8 adults and 3 children.

I left a lengthy response on women2womenconnect group under 'starting a simple church' on this site. It's long but it will give you start on who I am and how this group started. I don't know how to 'link' to that. Kind of inept at this computer stuff...
I am so encouraged by the networking that I see taking place within His church.
I look forward to more communication with you all, right now my grandson is calling :)

There are 4 of us that would love to camp at Bastrop with a 5th coming for the day on Saturday. But I should ask re: your plans?
How many families meet in your area? If I may ask.
I printed your story 'A Normal Church' from your site and shared it with the group today. Veronica got dreamy eyed and wanted to know where this city is, she wants to go there! Hehe... Grover wants a copy to send to his uncle in Illinois whom he has been encouraging in the way of SC the last couple of months. I will be sending them to your site. :)

We thought you all were really cool too! It was such a wonderful time. I'm so glad Papa networked us! Grover was picking as we were on our way back last night and said 'you probably scared them, you talk so much'. (It was just picking in fun). Kent was asking when you all would be coming up here.
Our time yesterday has been on my heart and mind all day as joy fills my soul each time I think of it. When you come you must bring your guitar as we are not instrumentally inclined - just vocal.

Grover and Kent are planning a camping trip the 2nd weekend of February. I just looked at the calendar and see that is the 14th... maybe not the best weekend.
I just received the date of my grandsons surgery, he is 7 and having surgery on his sinuses, so I will be going to Fort Bragg, NC next week as 'mama' wants me there.
