on Frank Viola's speech at the 2007 Dallas convention

On the "tipping point" concept

Recently, I have seen a couple of writings in various places on simplechurch.com which refer to the concept of "tipping point." As I understand it, and I encourage anyone to correct me if I am wrong, the idea is that, if one has a bucket held at an angle, and a material is dripping or falling into it, the material falls and falls, but nothing comes out of the bucket. on Robert Banks' Pauls Idea of Community: The Early House Churches in their Historical Setting

Banks begins the Preface with “This is not a technical book, nor a popular one either.” By technical, he is referring to the graduate school/seminary and up group. An intellectually insulting letter from who...

A little background on my political views. As I see it, in the U.S, the Democratic Party is more congruent than its opposition to my Christian beliefs on the subject of social justice, and the Republican Party, in theory, is more congruent on all other issues. As a practical matter, I see the Republican Party as being equally corrupt, providing us with a roughly equal amount of moral and monetary scandals.
