We currently have one girl that meets with us each wednesday evening. You and your wife (and family) would be welcome to come. We would love to meet with you.
As far as recommending a church--I know a few in the area. It really depends on what you are wanting in a church. If your background is Baptist or Lutheran--something like that, I am afraid I am not familiar enough with any of those to recommend one. If you are from a spirit filled background, there is the House of Praise over on the north side of town. I also know of a new church just starting up in Fort Smith in a local storefront. It is called Grace Felllowship. They are a really nice bunch of people.
If you are looking for something bigger, there is Central Christian and Community Bible Church which are both centrally located. In each of those you will find something for everyone--children, teens as adults. I've heard the praise and worship is good at both of those as well. I know the praise and worship is awesome at City Christian Fellowship too. That is important to me, so I notice things like that.
My husband currently are attending House of Praise. The Pastor there is a great guy. We still haven't gotten to know the congregation well yet.
Did you recently move to the area? Do you play musical instruments? Can you tell me more about yourself and your family? I'd love to meet you guys.
