Can Christians show the world how to handle escalating medical costs?
If the "kingdoms of this world are to become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ" then you and I have to take the rule of Jesus out into the world around us. Isn't the present expression of the kingdom of God wherever we see the uncontested rule of Jesus through his people? Influencing others in your sphere of influence!
I love a great fairy-tale. And watching parts of the Royal Wedding on Friday seemed just like the fairy-tales that I loved as a kid. Whatever I know of their lives so far, and I know very little, I can't help but love the "tale" that is told when such a high profile wedding occurs amid the pomp and ceremony that the Brits handle with such aplomb! This is a part of my British heritage which I still admire greatly.

I have been listening to Wayne Jacobsen's TRANSITIONS series and I have been blown away. Wayne is a friend and colleague of Paul Young. I am sure you have heard of him and probably read his books, but if you haven't heard the TRANSITIONS series, listen to it (it is free for download on his site).
To me what he discusses there is the bedrock foundation for building simple/house churches. Understanding the Father's affection is foundational to the whole rest of the Christian walk including bodylife.
So my question/suggestion is:
Have you considered having Wayne speak at this year's national conference?
I think his message is timely and foundational and would definitely give the basis for much of the rest of the things we do in simple church. That is my 2 cents worth. God bless you and all that you do.

I'm excited about the house2harvest network and seeing how we can get simple churches to be strategic in reaching the unreached people groups of the world, both those that are coming to us in this country and those spread out among the nations. - Tony, I have been "house churching" for years; so I certainly appreciate ALL of this. You and your gang are blessings and treasures to the Kingdom. Be encouraged in all of your endeavors for Father because His heart is being expressed through your efforts. We are called or sent on home missions once or twice a week, and we are definitely seeing God do "a new thing" as He promised. I have been involved with traditional church for 10 years, but the result I expected were some of those that are in the book of acts which I have not seen as expected.
it is very late when I got in touch with Brother Roger Thoman from Appleseed Ministry Group ( California -USA), and introduced to me this new way of presenting Jesus and the Gospel, I got so much exited.
in March this year, I went with a team of 6 people to Kenya, and attended the first stage training by Roger and Brooks Thoman.
since then, I can some of great results:
more than 30 house churches have started in my place, and 17 in Bujumbura.
can you immagine, withing 5 months only; Glory be to God.
we can see people saved, moslems have oppened there houses to be church gathering places, for fear to go to institutional churches. family which had problems are reconcilled,...
because of the progress of the work, and wanting to spread this vision to other new people, we have organised a simple/house church conference in Africa great lakes region, which will take place in Uvira D.R.Congo and we have invited Roger Thoman and his wife to be main speakers, in september 18.
please Tony, pray for us and for Roger, so that we may see these days very successful.

We got the opportunity to go to a house church on Sunday afternoon with Thomas Wynn and saw his beautiful illustration of "leadership" for ourselves. I am wondering if it would be possible for us to get this on video so that we can share it with others in the body of Christ. I think producing a video on leadership which includes this illustration will be highly impacting.
