"I understand where Mark is coming from. James schedule changes but he usually ends up working Saturday. He's only had a couple off since he started. I'm out of town this coming week, but don't think I have anything after that."
"Hi Cheryl, welcome. I just joined this group this summer after moving back from Texas. I've met with the group once. I think we have another meeting coming up soon. I feel the same. I was out of IC for a while, and then attended/worked at one…"
Hi Tracy, first time contact since we became Simple Church friends. It is obvious that you are quite active in the community. Always a blessing when people are in relationship with other. We are busy with a small house group network in Secunda South Africa and trusting God to add people to effectively penetrate the community. Please pray with us. We are 35 members and growing. Until next time, In Christ, Braam.
Mark, Shannon, Baby Lily, & I got together last evening and took nice long stroll at the park on Riverside. Beautiful evening. Though we may be separated by distance, I thought you might want to join as we read the book of Romans this week. We're also will be reading the book Houses that Change the World by Wolfgang Simson, available on Amazon. Until I receive my copy I'm going to take a look at the rough draft copy found onine at www.agts.edu/syllabi/ce/summer2002/mhtm639oleson_sum02_np_h.pdf.
We came across this statue quote, seemed appropriate:
"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." Ralph Waldo Emerson
Hi Tracy. For the picnic we are asking everyone to bring enough food for their own family - whatever they want: sandwiches, hot dogs for grilling (there are some grills there), casseroles, whatever. Try to bring a little extra because some folks may not be able to prepare anything. We will provide napkins, cups, plates, plastic dinnerware and drinks. Here is a map to the park: http://www.riverlegacy.org/maps.html
