"I understand where Mark is coming from. James schedule changes but he usually ends up working Saturday. He's only had a couple off since he started. I'm out of town this coming week, but don't think I have anything after that."
"Hi Cheryl, welcome. I just joined this group this summer after moving back from Texas. I've met with the group once. I think we have another meeting coming up soon. I feel the same. I was out of IC for a while, and then attended/worked at one…"
I'm Edgar from the Philippines. I'd like to invite you to read my article at www.bibleone.net/TheMillennium.htm. The millennium doctrine is vital for Christians to understand. It has to do with the word of the kingdom and the salvation of the soul, not spirit (1 Pet. 1:9; James 1:21; Heb. 10:39; Matt. 16:24-28). I'd appreciate a comment, but you are not obligated.
Hi Tracy - I am part of a simple church that meets on Saturday nights in Arlington, Texas and one of our families is from Forney. If you ever want to visit let me know and I can give you Kelly's phone number (the gal in Forney) and maybe you all could carpool out to our meeting and back.
Wow! She lives two streets from you! It is neat how technology helped you find someone right there in your neighborhood who loves the Lord and is interested in house churches just like you are. Kelly is a sweetheart! You will like her.
Actually I have. I'm about done with Phyllis Tickle's The Great Emergence which is pretty good. And I'm a little bit of the way into Michael Frost and Alan Hirsch's latest book Re-Jesus...GREAT stuff! Highly recommended!
Hi Tracy, We just joined. Wanted to say I heartily agree with your tag line. The way I've stated it is "We don't go to church. We don't do church. We are the church." Much too long to be a tag line. I like yours.
I see you have customized your location. I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Blessings, Jim & Sue Stow
