"Hi Tom, how did the gathering go? I'm sorry I missed it. I was out of town, and I thought I would make it back earlier, but did not. Maybe next time! Cheezem"

Christmas and Easter Christians

There is an old stereotype of folk who come to worship only twice a year. It got to be a stereotype is the same way most stereotypes come to be: it is mostly true. There are people who come to worship just twice a year. They are very faithful, in their own way. Every Christmas and every Easter they’ll show up, and hardly anytime else. It was cold...

It was cold...

I mean, it’s cold as I write this, but a few weekends ago, it was cold. The sort of cold we folk, here in the Sunny South, just are not prepared for. The February 7th meeting was put on hold as no one else really responded. I am looking at maybe sometime around Easter now.

I would enjoy getting lunch together sometime next week if you are free. I am busy on Wednesday, but open otherwise.

By the way, what is your name?

Hey cheezem, sorry it has been so long and that we were not able to get together a few weeks back. I have invited a couple of other Cola guys from this site to grab lunch on March 3rd at 11:45 at Atlanta Bread on Main st if you could make it.

How about 11:30am tomorrow? I need to be back to the office at 1pm for a conference call. We could meet at Subway on Elmwood or Atlanta Bread on Main. Let me know.
